With the upcoming BR5 Japanese. please give the Japanese the ability to fight the battle against the Soviets at BR4-5. This would include adding a Japanese-Occupied Manchuria Map. for the Soviets to face off Japanese. it would make both the Soviets and the Japanese have a new faction to fight. would also be historically accurate to what happened.

And where does japan get the playerbase to support anothere front now?
I dont think that the average joe is very interessted in japan and it is litterly just veteran who play japan at this point so growing numbers would be hard.
And then they need a lot more tools to deal with soviet bullshit as their handheld AT will not really be able to deal with IS tanks even from the side.

Soviets are kinda low population faction as well. At least in comparison to US and Germany. So I dont see any problem.

Both Japan and Germans need new faction to fight against on different maps i’m tired of Stalingrad at all BRs and Pacific is getting pretty repetitive.
Japan should go vs Soviets.
Germans should go vs French (with new unlocks and maps). Maybe they could also get us even new maps with Italy, Greece and Egypt for all BRs at least Italians could get some new stuff to unlock.

All I said is that opening a new front is a vastly diffrent thing than just adding a few new maps into the rotation.

it’s not a new front lol. when you say front you’re referring to campaigns that don’t exist anymore. all you would be doing with this new map. is now has Japanese and Soviets instead of being on Berlin or Pacific, they would have a random chance to be put in a Manchuria map based on br4 and 5s

Im not referring to campains but a matchmaker(queue)…
It doesnt matter where 10 axis fight 10 allied players as in both cases all of them are tied up for the duration of the match. But if you add a potential thrid faction that poaches player from one side aswell your playerbase for that faction has to be larger aswell to sustain that.
If 100 japan players are queing in an hour the mm can use all 100 of them to fill the US matches compared to just 50 if anothere 50 are tied up with the ussr. If the playerbase remains to small match quality would drop and people abandon that side completely causing futhere damage.
Just because steam brings alot of new players doesnt mean japan will get the same proportion of the playerbase aswell as the othere factions would as not that many players outside of the US even care that much for the pacific but everyone has heard of D-Day and the MG42.
Japan lacks the iconic weapons that draw in new players towards it.

Everyone playing japan already uses BR 4 gear and all it does is increase the eligable US playerbase.

Oh man, so not only do the Japanese have to deal with the west allies, rocket spam and the upcoming pershings, they now have to deal with federovs, rd-44s, pfausts and even more tanks.

The worst part is that the handheld AT would not even be able to pen the side of an IS tank if there is even a tiny bit of an angle.

I simply can not say Japan VS USSR is even closely fair or balanced past B.R I-II
KV-1 would be nearly unkillable past explosive pack and Bombs.

Literally the only problem are ground vehicles.
Could be easily solved by introducing more of them for japan.
KV-1 is extremely overrated tank. Chi-nu vs jumbo isn’t fair as well. But that’s how it currently is.

I have no clue why they put chi nu on BR4. It’s literally BR2 tank stat wise.
And I have no idea why they didn’t introduce chi ri or chi to. They’re more in a rush with BR5 and acting like it’s necessary before release on Steam.
They’re just creating an incompetent and poor balance between factions.

M ight be bad against germany where long 75 exist but agains japan the 75 all round will be unstopable and lets say that japan isnt blessed with good CAS to deal with stuff like that.
