I don’t like the MG42 because it is below its combat capacity, I like the MG45 but seeing that the MG81 already received a high rate of fire (1760) it wouldn’t be bad to also receive a Historical increase like the corresponding 1500 and 1800 and more when the Developers did this with the AT-44

Not sure about RoF. But they should give us 100 round version of all German MGs. More choice → better life.

Best option would be to make them have dynamic mag size depending on BR you have picked, if it’s BR4 then 50 rounds, if BR5 then 100 rounds.
I always play at BR5 so 100 rounds would make that squad more useful rather than just xp shrine that is only useful to grind xp instead of having fun with their premium gun.

Please leave premium weapons as they are. I own both of these and like them as-is. Increased ROF would hurt them.

It’s a reasonable upgrade to make it comparable to the Stinger in Ammo And that they also get their true Rate of Fire as it really corresponds to them
Why in the good name of God do you think it would it be remotely fair for BR 4 premiums to be comparable in performance to an overpowered but rare BR 5 event weapon?
It must be because the power of the weapon is really like that…The MG42, both the Premium and the TT, must have their true Rate of Fire that corresponds to them. That they are 1500 not 990 and 1060 which are below their true powerA machine gun for BR 4 is the MG34 where it fulfills its role well.

This is a video game, you need to care about game balance. You can’t just use an alleged adherence to historical accuracy to provide absurd buffs to weapons.
Even if we were to play the “but muh accuracy” game, the 50 round belts are absolutely a historical setup that the guns used so you can’t even use that as justification. In fact, the 50 round belt was the doctrinally official setup for the gun when used as a LMG as opposed to the unofficial use of longer belts. Also to my knowledge the MG-42 had adjustable rates of fire meaning the the rofs listed ingame are also historical even if they’re on the lower end of what the guns are capable of doing.

I think the premium squads should stay as is. But as an event item much like the stinger, I think it’d be fine to bring in 2 MG42 or MG45 with light bolts and a 100 round belt. And also reducing the stinger to its accurate 100 round boxes as it should have in the first place.
Still have no idea why the stinger ammo capacity has never been addressed lmao. Then it’d be pretty fair both ways for both sides.

If they already gave you MG81 with 1760 RPM, there is no problem in increasing the Cadence of the MG you requested.
The developers have already given the MG81 with a 1760 rate of fire.And they also gave this…
So do this with the TT MG42, the Premium and the MG45 that you already paid MONEY for. For those squadrons They should receive the improvements they deserve.As for the ammunition, it is totally fair to ask for that amount due to the German MG Doctrine.

I am requesting that the machine gun that became known for its high rate of fire that outweighed its sister the MG34(900)Get your corresponding Rate of Fire to get closer to the German Doctrine,These squadrons have already been paid for and with even more reason they should do so because they are special. Both with the MG42 TT, Early and the MG45.
It’s in their best interest that we never reach equality it’s just like how we also for some reason ignore the fact that the Americans can spawn at the start of the match while the Japanese are struggling to get anything done because they don’t have the nonsense which the Americans have and that’s not even covering body armor nonsense for the Soviets or how all their guns are just 1% better than the Germans.
