You can increase the Rate of Fire because they are incorrect in both weapons and an increase in Ammo is also acceptable to make it comparable to the 200 bullets of the Stinger It will be an event but it is of limited use like the Early MG42 and the MG45, both Premium
I still think 100 rounds would be enough for them if they do get an increase in ammo, 250 rounds tho?, too much, and their rate of fire is fine.
There is the MG81 with a cadence of 1760 in TT so the MG45 with its 1800 that should be feared and the Early MG42 with the 1500 are not a problem ,I don’t care about the ammunition either, because they are special weapons and I want them to be comparable to the 200 of the Stinger
The Germans are already the top dogs in LMGs, they do not need buffs.
I’m talking about Premium…
That’s still a buff. The Stinger is a crazy good LMG but being an old event reward means that it’s basically unobtainium. Premiums squads are not that.
But they are unique and limited just like the Stinger
You can straight up buy the MG-42 Early squad right now, and the devs have a habit of temporarily selling discontinued premium squads every now and then. In comparison the only way to get a Stinger nowadays is to go gambling whenever the silver boxes are available.
Same with the MG45But this suggestion about improving the ammunition and fixing its rate of fire is not bad.
I think it’s stupid, the rate of fire is fine as it is and if you want an increase in ammo then ask for a new premium squad for both MGs, and the ammo should only be 100, that’s finally.
Overbuffed RD-44, Stinger, Fedorov MG and buffed Vickers exist and first two are 10x better than anything that Germany has at BR4-5.
Rest are not that far behind, and Vickers feels even better than MG42 Early as they have 100 rounds in mags and can also get smgs from their boxes (soon Hyde AR)
Again the Stinger is a basically unobtainable former event reward, using it as a point of balance comparison with techtree and premium weapons is folly. Also honestly maybe I’ve been living under a rock or something but I don’t get why people wax lyrical about the RD-44 like that, from my experience using it I found it rather unremarkable. I’ve heard people claim that it has somewhat lower moving dispersion compared to other LMGs which if true sounds fair as otherwise it doesn’t have like anything going for it.
The Vickers is a BR 5 weapon, no shit it performs better than a BR 4 gun.
Doesn’t matter as people at BR5 are using them daily to obliterate German and Japanese players. Some people even have 3 or 4 of them. While i’m sitting with two of them, and are using them every match.
Mate yes you are living under a rock. It’s the 2nd best lmg in the game right after Stinger. It has no moving dispersion, always kills in two hits even at 100m, has fast rof while also having very low recoil/dispersion once you grab vertical recoil you can dance with enemy squads and just keep murdering them. Overbuffed RD-44 is MG42 Early but better. Honestly moving dispersion should be removed or severely lowered from all MGs.
Again doesn’t matter as BR4 weapons are always matched vs BR5, and Fedorov MG is a BR5 gun but it’s at BR4 for no damn reason (it’s a better and overbuffed Fedorov Avtomat). BR4 will be irrelevant unless they turn BR5 into lone island that can’t be matched vs low BR opponents.
The funny thing about the Stingers, they were never used with the 200 round belt boxes, they were tested with them but it was agreed that they became too unwieldy (defeating the purpose of the modification, to make them more mobile). In combat they were used with 100 round boxes, always.
It absolutely does matter as its unobtainable nature heavily limits the amount of those players who are “at BR5 are using them daily to obliterate German and Japanese players”. I personally don’t run into Stingers very often, if at all, but anecdotal evidence is hardly conclusive.
Going to be honest, being able to consistently two hit people even out to 100m seems hardly impressive considering that every single other BR5 LMG does full power rifle damage. Also the gun has the higher end of recoil among BR5 LMGs. I personally found the RD-44’s moving dispersion not to be anything crazy (which is somewhat unfortunate as the gun needs multiple hits to kill) but again anecdotal evidence limited experience yada yada.
I would support removing the high moving dispersion for LMGs if it was replaced by gun/sight instability instead. The dispersion thing was delibrately added to prevent the LMGs from being just better assaulter weapons but I personally think that method of implementation is kind of goofy.
This is some real silly mental gymnastics. What next, BR 3 weapons need to be equal to BR 4 weapons because they face them as well? And then BR 2 needs to be equal to BR 3 because they also face them a lot? And then BR 1 equal to BR 2?
Can’t really comment on the Fedorov LMG considering that it’s not even available to test drive but I don’t remember its stats being that crazy for LMG.
I already paid for 2 premium squadrons (MG42 and MG45) This comment is pointless.
I know that, but it’s not bad that these machine guns have what I ask for.
This.
I’d rather keep my toys as they are… I paid for them knowing full well how they are…
I would like them to have improvements
Keep in mind those improvements would come at the cost of:
- higher br
- slower run speed
- possible higher recoil
- slower reload
I’m not ready for such a trade off. Also, some mgs (such as those) already have such a fast reloading speed, that a longer belt isn’t that necessary imo. As for rof… really mg45 already shoots really fast and I like the slower mg42early rof, for more accurate shooting.
I got both. No need for both to shoot really fast (already fast enough?)
