Please could you consider putting Gewehr 43 at BR 3. I know we have Gewehr 41 at BR 3. But would great too if Gewehr 43 got same BR as well.

No, it would just devalue G41. There would be no point to use G41 over G43.

I mean Gewehr 43 is kind of devalued at it’s BR already especially with great change from the recent update of the FG family.

FGs are BR5, G43 is BR4.

Except for few exceptions, BR3 semi rifles are loaded with stripper clips. BR4 semis has the normal mag reload. And finally BR5 are SF rifles.

Rather than lower BR of G43, they should increase BR of SVT-38 (with minor buffs) to BR4 and introduced new semi BR3 with stripper clips reload.

I just don’t see any good reason to increase powercreep of BR3 by introducing more of 10 round semis with mag reload there. Effectively making all semis with stripper clip reload obsolete.

I never really tried out BR 4 only line up mostly from hearing other players seem to get into BR 5 games majority of the time. I will try it out when I have time. I like your last idea though make sense.

That’s standard for BR4 semis for whatever reason. (Only Japanese are exception)

I wish level 5 would be a stand alone BR level because I would love to use some BR4 weapons, but if they are going to be fighting in a BR5 match why use them since there are better BR5 weapons to use.

I wish all BRs were separated.

Weird, I thought SVT-40 doesn’t have bayonet for whatever reason xD

I would even go so far as to make BR3 semis deal enough damage to down in one shot, while BR4 semis should kill completely in one shot, that would make these iconic semi autos worth it in even BR5.

Also since soviets and US had historically better semis early in the war, soviets having a magazine fed one is from a historically asymmetrical balance not a bad idea.

I think soviets just need a br2 TT 5 round stripper clip semi.

Or we can make BR5 stuff not be powercreep that makes everything before obsolete.
Just a thought.

Well how would you nerf BR5 gear in general then?

  • Semi auto standard mode for all select fire guns (opposite of the recent change)

  • significantly increase recoil for automatic fire on select fires (opposite of the recent change)

For instance.

What’s the issue with that?
Some of your teammates will be BR5, some of the enemies will be BR5.
You can fight against BR5 as well.

I swear people are so often scared to not have an advantage as default.

T-34-85/Tommy 1928/SVT 40/MG 34 (75)/Jumbo/second flamethrowers and mortars are more than viable.

And don’t forget that construction hammer doesn’t have a BR and rallies win games.

More recoil makes sense, but the semi auto mode isn’t a nerf, its just annoying - because you can still change the mode back to full auto…

People dont want an advantage - instead no one likes losing when the enemy had the advantage.
