This is a unnecessary nerf to the Germans, the models would still be different if the German version got the same front end as the soviet one. But if the Devs insist on both guns looking different then I wouldn’t mind if the German version got a welded on sight like a mp3008.
They fixed it at last? Gotta look at it again, when they first released it there was a 0,6 damage STOCK difference between the two, so I unlocked it and immediately shelved it to never use it
in order for the developers to add a rear sight to this crop, you need to go back in time and persuade the master who cut the ppsh 41 from which his game version was copied in the present to keep the rear sight, and so I don’t see any options in which the rear sight of this ppsh can be returned.
They quietly did fix that maybe a month after the update.
They did get mocked pretty hard for their imaginary “shortend barrel” so I guess they did not expect beeing called out but also did not want to admit to being wrong.
For a long time the german obrez has a small advantage in reload speed to make up for the loss of the sight but now looking at the stats in the resorce it looks like the devs got rid of it somewhat recently and they are perfect mirrors now ( exept for the sights).
That’s interesting, I might try it again for fun and giggles.
I tried it when it first released, and at mid range the damage was so laughably low that it felt like shooting with sn airsoft gun. Barely tickled enemies unless at point blank range.
I never touched them. So I thought they were both exactly the same weapon. I didn’t even know they looked different.
So I think both of them should be made usable, especially the German model, which, as you said, doesn’t have a front sight.
That’d be nice but unfortunately that’s not how the Enlisted Devs work, they never remove guns from the tech tree. So we might as well make the most of it and at have a usable gun rather than a useless gun wasting space in the German tech tree.
Dont worry I talk to all 30 of my mp717rs, what I ment was the Devs haven’t removed anything from the tech tree, that was removed from the campaign system. But I guess it counts as a removed weapon.
