Both obrez ppsh are just bad, and there isn’t much evidence that such alterations to the normal guns was made in any large scale. If these are supposed to be partisan weapons, then why cut off the gun like that ? Because partisans typically hid in remote areas, far from any heavily populated area, so why cut your gun like that ? To hide it under your cloak ? But you don’t need to hide it on yourself, because you already live hidden. Maybe that would make sense in some big cities, but even there, I have never seen any pics of people using such gun, because ammo was probably already scarce, so you want your shots to land: you don’t cut your weapon to become trash that misses 3/4 of your shots.
I would appreciate if they could replace the two obrez by something else, and there are plenty of options for partisans/guerillas weapons that could fit, as said above.
It’s what I meant. Tech tree was merely linear, per campaign before… and they removed those for no reason at all.
I’m glad that like you I bought 30 ~ 35 ppsh41 and a good 40 m93, I love those, still use both.
Was dumb of devs to remove them… considering they just give everyone the panzershreck without a shield and panzerfausts…
I think they were right to remove them because then if they didn’t Germany would be too close to the soviets, but then they went and did a 180° and just gave German equipment to everyone. Whilst they were removing the Stalingrad weapons they should have also removed the Berlin volksturm weapons as well because they don’t belong in the tech tree.
I just don’t like much the double standards devs chose to do…
Me neither, I wish they’d stuck to the original promise when they removed the mp717r because one of the reasons they justified it’s removal was that it wasn’t a very common gun outside of Stalingrad.

So they can remove most of the italian weapons from the tree then. I doubt the FNAB-43 was used by the germans outside of Italy. And there are italian weapons in the tree that Germany never used or even captured anyway, so that is even worse by their standards.
