Some time ago, I made a post about my issues with the game. recently I learned that you added Tunisia and trains, so I decided to try it again. For reference, my original problems are here:
In short, you havent done shit. All the problems are still here, I can’t really say anything about their scale, because I have no willingness to play this more than a few matches I already did. But I dont feel any improvement whatsoever.
In fact if feels worse. Playing Tunisa si quite cool, maps look great, it has a great vibe around it. But I cannot really play it, because you put engineer at level 9, that means that even less people will actually place spawnpoints, good job. To make sure, that not to many palyers will have acces to fun clases, you also decided to make them silver order only.
Who in your team had that briliant idea? Academy sucks, becasue players cant progress with upgrading their squads? Fine! Let them upgrade them with bronze orders, but makes sure that players who dont have reserves of silver will not be able to even get the classes they want! You basicly replaced one bad system with other bad system. You have no regard to what players were suggesting, you clearly showed, that players comfort is unimportant to you. I understand, that allowing players to buy random packs of soldiers and letting them upgrade them at the same time, was to much for you? This whole game, feels like compromise betwen creating actually good product, and creating money mashine.
Further, you showed that you dont understand problems of the game regarding defense and attack.
Whole idea, is that defenders make fortifications, and attackers try to get past them right? So why you made train mode, the way it is?
I though, that defenders objective will be to defend the train, and allow it to reach some point. Instead, defenders are effectivly attacking the other side, because train goes directly into enemy. So instead of creating fortifications and what not, defenders are always in a mad rush, to reach the damned train, and allow it to move a couple of meters, before it stops, because everyone inside died, due to crossfire.
Defenders effectivly have all the downsides of defending (being tied to objective, having to defend it at all times) and all the downsiedes of attackers (haveing to cross enemy teritory and fortifications, being limited to spawn tickets). Meanwhile attackers, can just chill at buildings surrounding the train, ocasionally rushing some smg guys inside, they can even create fortifications on trains path, to make it harder for defenders to reach it. This is absurd.
This mode also embraces the smg meta. You cant really fight on range, unless you are attacker, then you can actually snipe some guys that try to reach the objective that is constanlty runing closer to your lines. Whole fight over train, is just few guys runing around with smgs while the whole train is being shelled by arty, tanks and granades. All this in Berlin campaign, that is as broken as it always was, there was aparently no effor made to try and balance it a bit.
I have seen your roadmap. It doesnt mention any of the main problems of the game. Balance weapons? No, but we will add some new models, cool right? AMke situation with upgrading and getting soldiers berable for newcomers? No, but we will add more upgrades, so you can spend more silver. Doing anything about bombers raping everyone? No, but we will add some pilot perks, to perhaps buff them a bit. Making maps not reliant about rushing objectives before defenders can even get there? Propably no, we will twaek them a bit, and say it was based on your suggestions, despite not listening to even a single one, as was evidenced by academy change, and not even mentioning any of the awesome ideas people had here in the forum.
