This rifle is regular WW1 G98 rifle with prolonged 25 round magazine,small field scope and bolt dust cover from arisaka type 38 carbine, scope and bayonet could be removed as option
I suggest it to be usable by all classes

i think that we could instead make the gewehr 98/1888 more common for late war campaigns, because those rifles have a longer barrel than your standard K98K, this could give us higher damage

But we already have the g98 with the scope, you want only have 25 round right?
Makes me wish I knew this game existed in the Beta to get that gun. I know its a novelty , but with the BA buffs, this thing would be WILD to use.

yes and with bayonet and with detachable lil scope and for every class except pilots and tankers maybe , these 25 round BAs were a thing back in alpha and id like to see them on larger scale
Larger scale is a big word for a gold order gun you can buy one time
sure i mean why not, though g98 was mechanically more refined than g88, in this game rate of fire of g88 is too slow for late level in campaign in my opinion
by larger scale i mean that players would be able to have a reach on at least one … and if it it was available for all campaigns as axis weapon (just like artillery luger or MkB-35) i might even buy a second one too and it would be more visible and also transferable troughout the game… besides the 25 round version with bolt dust cover did quite nice metallic sound while cycling the bolt
