Future perks management: please add an "apply this set to ALL soldiers of this class" option

We don’t know in detail how the future perks system will work, but we do know it’s going to be heavily reworked.

It is therefore safe to assume that there will be a lot of rebalancing in terms of perks cost in points, too.

We also know that the new system will supposedly ditch the RNG perks selection, which is a great thing.

Nonetheless most of us, used to our favourite combinations of perks, will in all likelihood need to make changes in our sets.

Now, if we’ll have to do it manually FOR EVERY SINGLE SOLDIER, it’s going to be a VERY tedious and time-consuming affair, requiring HOURS of micromanagement for those who have several campaigns unlocked and hundreds of soldiers.

Moreover, we’d probably have to do it AGAIN whenever perks undergo significant rebalancing.

Therefore,

I hereby suggest and ask, as a major QoL necessity, that the new perks management system incorporates an option for players to automatically apply a specific set of perks to ALL soldiers of the same class AT ONCE, either through a dedicated “apply to all” command, or by saving it as the default set for the class.

Individual changes would still be possible, but micromanagement would become an extra instead of being mandatory.

I’m stressing it now that the new system isn’t a thing yet, in the hope that this feature may be implemented in time to be there since day 1, when it will be most needed, instead of appearing perhaps much later (if ever).

Well, good option. Yet after new progression drop will it be required to set those hundred of soldiers proper perks?

What I understood there will be no campaigns anymore, only theather of fights in overall pool of available battlefield dependent of your inventory EQ I pressume we will no longer be needing hundred of this soldiers because we gonna just preparo for battle what is minimum 6 squads to maximal 10 or so available to deploy? So not really gonna need them anymore, that being said just send them to rear.

Another quiestion shows up in my mind while I write this, will there be any reserve limits? Or they just combine this number to one specified amount? For now each campaing you have reserves of soldiers in barracks, this number combined with squad upgrades and Premium Account shows how many soldiers you may keep in those barracks, wonder how will they handle it.

Well, people playing multiple campaigns/factions will have a very large soldiers pool even after the merge.

And sending most of them to the rear is far from the best option, since it will be way more convenient to keep and use them to set up multiple different presets, fitting different BR ranges (or power level, or whatever it will be called).

And I clearly recall Keo or another official source mentioning perks still being a thing in the new system. Just arranged differently, without the 5 perks cap but still with a cost in points.

Well, no sensie in keeping all of the low tier level Soldiers, just 2 nad 3 Soldiers and 4 from Moscow, the rest I dump anyway so my reserve is pretty well organised, but depends of rework of the perk system I’ll dump them or leave them to make some preset, we will see, so far I use almost same perk sets for every assault, rifflemen, ATs, Engiees etc.
