⭐ From: "It's not a bug, it's a feature". Camera from the neck to the nose

After the Making Enlisted a Better Place №51 update, the neck camera problem was solved… or not?

Making Enlisted a Better Place №51 - News - Enlisted

After the update, the camera is no longer on the neck, now it’s on the nose, that’s a bit above the neck, the camera, which are the player’s eyes, are not on the character’s eyes, as expected, it’s a tease on top of another tease… Currently it is still below eye level, and when tilting the problem of the head outside the camera persists (hitbox and camera decoupled), i.e. a complete decoupling of the head and camera on tilting movements, while standing, crouching or body down.

The mockery does not seem to be towards the users this time, I would say that there is a developer making fun of who pays the end of the month salary ( If he moved the camera from the neck to the nose, why did he leave it on the nose and not on the eyes? ) A question that proves that they have loose ends within the development team…

Will this fix the pushed-up sights if it is fixed?

Currently the head and weapon are static, when aiming, what the game does is move the camera towards the weapon to align with the optical sight, which disconnects the head from the camera.

The solution isn’t as simple as just moving the camera at eye level, (that would improve the perception of the environment).

The solution requires both the head and the weapon to move, in the case of the head, it will move when aiming, in the case of the weapon, it will rise slightly, raising the shoulder.

In this way, the movement of the head by bowing, and the movement of the shoulder and arm by rising, will achieve a correct alignment.

Therefore, the correction involves adding the missing animations in those movements and a detailed study of how the soldier should hold the weapon.

Wow, fixing this camera issue seems like it would kill a lot of birds in one throw.

One of them is fake deaths by headshots, as the head hitbox is always static, but the player mistakenly believes that his head is in the same place as the camera position.
