Flamethrower 1 with pitiful range + worthless 20 ammo low rof smg = squad is useless and will be forgotten in a week just like Pacific Paras.

They need to have something strong to be worth deploying, just because they can land anywhere is not enough if they can’t kill the opposition. I guess they will be always just a mobile engineers and that’s it you will be suiciding after building a beacon just to play in your usual powerful squad.

Why are Allies can get most op paras (2x) while Axis only get sub par squads that are barely usable? No way in hell those Axis squads are worth grinding the event for so long, DF is overvaluing their power. It’s not Soviet bias or Axis bias but American bias.

I just played a few matches with them and yes, maybe x6 flamethrower are too much.
As for the OG i really like it, is good even on medium distances.

Tbh I guess they would get as nice SMG but not OP.

This is what everyone wants from “The Merge” supposedly. I don’t see what is good about giving everyone special weapons when the best matches have bolt actions dominate the battlefield with a few special weapons here and there.

much easier to appease the American player base and the Russian player base by giving them good stuff while giving the German subpar equipment especially when it comes to the paratroopers.

That part can go to hell the Germans still don’t have a belt fed MG yet and the Condor does not count that’s a submachine gun and it’s a gold order weapon.

The FG-42 with a grenade launcher is now subpar?? Im pretty sure you just have a major skill issue.

Almost every MG they have is beltfed, and no 25 extra rounds are not going to save you from being rolled over by an M2 carbine.

Now it is equivalent to three level 2 flamethrowers, but if the range is weakened, it is only equivalent to two level 1 flamethrowers(Level 1 flamethrower has more ammunition).It seems that just reducing the range is enough.Because a level 1 flamethrower looks like a joke.

The animation takes too long putting on the grenade launcher and taking it off with how fast pace this game is.

Yes it does matter when this game is about killing AI and clearing the objective as fast as possible Especially when you’re against players.

imo,

paras should come with crappy weapons, and perhaps good weapons inside the crate.

but, i still think should be limited to 1 para active per player in their line up.
no more than that.

when it comes to flamethrowers, as long those are tier 1 and limited fuel, i have no issue with those.

p.s. new italeons para are fun.
not extraordinarily good, but they don’t have to.

after all, the can still drop bloody anywhere.

I don’t know. I just like this smg. Maybe it is really truly bad (since everyone is saying that) but it really suites me. I think it’s pretty decent weapon for Tunisian axis.

So I am a little bit trigged when someone says it’s “very bad”. But I guess that’s just my disillusioned bias.

This squad is definitely obsolete to current premium flameguys. And they weren’t nerfed.
So people can yell whatever they want, nothing will change I think.

no one here really cares about balance, everyone here just wants his own little goal, be it reverting Tunisia back to botfarm, nerfing all paratroopers or complain about the lack of something he wants.

Got to try it today. I like the SMG but its comparable to the mp28 with less dispersion.
