This is to entice players to play BR IV gear at least for a little bit. I think most players will only use this kit as long as it takes to clear it and move onto BR5.
As it stands there are effectively 3 BRs: 2, 3 and 5
Ppl play 2 to stay away from 5, ppl play 3 because they will stomp or be stomped and they’re fine either way, and then ppl play 5 because they enjoy the end game content, and will curb stomp anyone that brings in the dregs from previous BRs.
kill everything they face at any angle until BR4, where they’ll kill everything they face at most angles?
the 76.2 and 75mm HE is already pretty potent, introducing an 88 at BR3 would basically cause another german stack, and the 152mm could probably delete entire caps because the reload would give it exactly enough time for the cap to fill back up with enemy squads
very slow and awkward to drive, no depression facing forward, very slow turret traverse, open top, high sillhouete No MG. HE-TF shells that dont work so its not really AA, and Even if it did work like warthunder, Timed fuse are still next to useless as AA.
They both have a niche, and pay a hefty price for that niche.
Thing about the Dicker is its one of the best hill peakers there is because of its insane gun depression. Flak bus is the opposite…they do different things, and in the end, neither are user friendly.
might be a boon since they are new, but after a while of HE rounds detonating the whole crew or being strafed, it will join the dicker in rarity.
The way I see it is there are 2 real BR groupings at the moment, low BR and high BR. Both of these vehicles are much better than vehicles in the low BR, so it would be better to keep them out of those matches. Are they weak in high BR? They are far from optimal for sure, imo they would be BR 3. So I would support having them in BR3 should it ever get its own dedicated matchmaking.
Edit:
I haven’t tested the KV-2 very much, I am mostly talking about the flakbus.
Well currently HE-TF doesn’t act like HE-TF it just a HE round so it can’t aa(unless you want to use the AP round for aa but that probably not a good idea)
