Few vehicles that are very famous but not in game

  1. M4A2E8 & M4A2E8 “Easy-Eight”
    image
The famous “Fury” from the film
Probably the most famous tank from WW2 after tiger tank.
It is equiped with all available upgrades sherman could have, including wet ammo, HVSS, 76mm etc.
Fury will not be added in game tho due to copyright, but the Easy-Eight should be in game.

  2. Ju 88
    image
    Luftwaffe’s medium dive bomber.
Ju 88 was produced more than 15000 and it’s 3rd most produced aircrafts used by Luftwaffe. after bf109 and fw 190.
The current Ju 188 is a medium dive-bomber designed as a successeur of Ju 88.
It was only produced barely 1000.
I personnally don’t understand why more famous and more used Ju 88 is not in game, but barely produced Ju 188 is in game.

  3. Su-152
    image
Probably the most famous one amongst Su series.
Famously known as Zveroboy(beast-killer), it got its nickname from Kursk battle where it destroyed beasts, such as tiger and elephant.
It was used a lot by red army until the end of war, but it is not in game yet.
Considering Kv-2 is already in game, the 152mm gun won’t bother much of balance.

  4. Polikarpov I-16 “Ishak”
    image
As you can tell from its designation, it is successeur of I-15 biplane.
Basically, they took the upper wing from I-15, and made it as monoplane.
It was also used a lot at the begining of the war, and also used in spanish civil war but not in game.

  5. P-39 “airacobra”
    image
Made in USA, fought in URSS.
Tho it was made by USA, most of them were sent to soviet via lend-lease.
It was welcomed by soviets, actually very welcomed
5 out of 10 soviet best ace pilots made their score with the aircraft.
This aircraft is the reason why soviet post-war jet fighters such as Mig-15 and Mig-17 were equiped with 37mm.
In game, we do have P-63 as premium, so P-39 would be great for tech tree.
And obviously, US sould get this also.

  6. M3 “Half-track”
    image
Speaking of something that soviet got but not the US, the Half-track.
it’s just a joke how Soviet got M3 half-track but not US.
Yes soviet did used halftrack a lot, and I’m not against it.
But why US don’t get it? At the end, it is American produced vehicle.

  7. M36 “Jackson”
    image
US after having fun with M10 Wolverine, designed one with 90mm.
It was only 90mm equiped vehicle at western front prior to the arrival of M26 pershing.
Honestly, the current M10 should go down to br3, and this should be at br4 instead.

  8. Semovente 75/18 & Semovente 75/34
    image
Current Enlisted have 75/32 M41, which wass a transitioanl vehicle between 75/18 and 75/34.
It was a prototype that was not produced merely as much as two semovente.
75/18 and 75/34 were vastly more produced than 75/32, I don’t get why DF choose 75/32.

all of the vehicles you mentioned, are in the game.

the ones above were given as premium. *small correction, only present in the editor. and i did confused them for the > P-63 king cobra and the achilles

all the others except the:

are all in the editor. the i16 not sure if it’s in the game.
but still.

as why some of these were not released yet, it’s to anyone guesses.

those 2 weren’t released, you are thinking of the P-63 king cobra and the achilles

i see.

i apologies for the confusion.

Edit,

just to set the record straight;

the P400 is set to be for the allies:
( which it’s essentialy the p39 with practically no differences other than the deployment )

Ju-88 A1/A4 are also in the Editor:

the I-16 was a pre merge premium: ( no longer obtainable as of yet )

the us m3 halftrack is to be expected somewhere in the future as it was hinted:

Semoventes presents beside the /18, it’s 75/32

SU-152 was reinstated, however, needs some fixing.

same story with the the easy 8 is in the editor:

the only one vehicle not present, is the M36. ( well, technically 2. since the p400 is the p39 of the allies )

i don’t consider in the editor to be in the game. it must have at some time been attainable and thus playable.

But it is?

But can you play it that’s like saying the destroyed vehicle are part of the game, when people suggest things they mean they want them playable

P-400 are P-39 with 20mm hispano instead of 37mm

was it at for moscow campaign? I don’t recall

You can play some of them like the p400 and ju 88

but not in tech tree

How is that a very famous vehicle? It’s literally Italian.

Doesnt matter much. Them being in the editor makes them easier to port into the normal game

It’s more famous compared to current 75/32 M41 in game.
75/32, a prototype intermediate tank being in game but not 75/18 or 75/34? Don’t understand

Those Italian SPGs were actually very famous among the German troops for being amazing, I heard somewhere that those are the reason why STUGs with long 75mm gun came into existence.

About the Fury. Just to remind. Main character played by Brad Pitt and the tank Fury (Sherman e8) was fictional, but his nickname War Daddy was real and used by this hero Lafayette Green Pool

Would be nice to have him as gold order soldier or whatever they will call it soon. Since his tank (or almost similar, not sure about the number, and he got 3 tanks total) Sherman M4A1 76 W “In the mood” is already in game as a gold order.

Let me find some information on this - its a quite interesting story.

okay, I have to admit, I have no idea where I read this information, but here some facts:

Semovente was made as a respond of short barreled STUG - used in Africa with great success before STUG III F was introduced AND with great success because its heat round could and did take out Matilda, M3 and even Sherman tanks before any German vehicles were able to do so.

Germany relied on 88 flak to take out heavy armor in Africa - which is why the Tiger program came into existence, so for a short period of time the Semovente was the only axis vehicle able to take out allied tanks.

oh man, just learned that the later Sevomente M43 with its 105mm gun wasnt just a prototype - but also around 100 were actually used in the battle of Italy, even after Italy pretty much switched sides Germany kept using them.

Maybe thats where my half baked story came from.
