I demand my Hitler youth if we’re getting w*men
I’d back that, and to my knowledge there were Muslims who fought for the Nazis. Both ideologies, Islam and Nazism, don’t have the greatest opinion of Jews… anyhow, perhaps in the Tunisia Campaign, if some of those Muslim Nazis fought, they could be included.

The SS had all sorts, even Sikhs iirc so it’s not an antisemitic requirement
since it’s like that
I favor putting child soldiers and the option to rape enemies
Perhaps they will add a premium squad with a female crew who bought a t 34 tank
I don’t know about a female tank CREW, but there seems to have been at least one female tanker with the Red Army during WWII, and it seems she also met up with an American POW whom had escaped a German camp!
Same comment in Russian:
Я не знаю о женском танковом ЭКИПАЖЕ, но, похоже, во время Второй мировой войны в составе Красной Армии была как минимум одна женщина-танкистка, и, похоже, она также встретилась с американским военнопленным, сбежавшим из немецкого лагеря!
Edit:
I had included the translation, which is unnecessary because Knyaz has an auto-translator, and I also stupidly forgot to include the link I had found.
Maria Oktyabrskaya, most likely she was a tank commander and had a male crew, but I don’t remember anymore
Very interesting. I wonder just how many female tankers served in the Red Army during WWII, I doubt there were as many female tankers as snipers. I still need to learn about any pilots, for some reason I feel confident there were female pilots but I don’t think I’ve ever confirmed the matter.
Actually, having said that, I think this is where it’s beginning to become excessive. All possible female soldiers for the Red Army should be extremely rare, perhaps even only one available per player. It would be rather strange, though, for some players to be able to have an all-female sniper squad, a female tanker in an otherwise all-male tank, and a female pilot in a plane. The rarity of female soldiers in the Red Army needs to be maintained otherwise it will just look ridiculous.
Edit:
I should have considered checking this out earlier, but I’ve hit pay dirt. Nearly 100 female Red Army soldiers/pilots who were awarded ‘Hero of the Soviet Union.’
It’s true but there’s also the cost sink problem where modeling, rigging, and voice-acting female soldiers needs to be worthwhile.
It’s either going to be unrealistic or not worth the cost.
Im sure the 14 years avarage enlisted player become distracted from something if they ad female soldier
(Expecialy in soldier managment screen)
Pilots female?Litvyak
I am inclined to believe that this is a waste of time and even if done successfully, yeah, probably won’t make back the money spent to implement it and won’t attract all that many gamers.
I am finding some interesting stuff though, check this out, she’s a Kazakh, and she was a machine gunner! Took MAJOR persistence, she tried to join the Red Army repeatedly but was always rejected. Eventually they let her in as a clerk, then as a nurse even though she kept asking to be in the infantry. She kept studying nursing and also practicing with firearms. Eventually someone tested her on marksmanship/gunnery and promoted her, allowing her to join the 100th Rifles which was apparently over 80% Kazakh so was referred to as a Kazakh regiment or some such thing. She fell in love with a fellow machine gunner, only told a friend about it, and both her and her crush died on the same day. She fought doggedly, and allegedly would not stop until she ultimately succumb to her wounds.
I must admit, I am beginning to question my adamant assertion that women do not belong on the front lines. I do believe that a man would have been able to fight longer and harder than she had fought, or at least that she would have performed her duties better if she were a man instead of a woman, but damn, can’t say this stuff isn’t impressive.
By and large though, looking at the list of female ‘Hero of the Soviet Union’ recipients, they’re by far mostly snipers, nurses, and pilots. Whenever I see one who served in a rifle regiment, upon clicking on her I tend to find out she specifically worked as a medic. It does sound like several women performed their duties admirably even on the front lines. Quite fascinating. It’s really a shame that the left-wing has been ramming identity politics down our throats for so many years… I think it would actually be fascinating to include some actual women’s likeness and names in the game, but of course to make them ULTRA rare. Perhaps also specifically stick with women who died during the war? I dunno, but anyhow, no, I think it will ultimately cost Gaijin more money than it will make them, and might also cost them more gamers than it would attract. I ultimately think that this is a terrible, terrible decision even though it has lead me to learn that women had covered a larger array of positions in the Red Army than I had realized, and I found some of the stories of these women very fascinating.
Including one woman who was severely beaten by a German soldier upon being discovered to have been alive, and left for three days before recon found her. She was frostbitten, received 8 surgeries to save her life, and was ultimately a quadraplegic (quadruple amputee) or however that word is spelled. Had no hands or feet left afterwards, and wrote a letter that would lead many pilots writing her name on their plane, tankers on their tanks, and thousands of letters were sent in from soldiers saying they would avenge her.
Check out Darkflows other project Cuisine Royal to see how they intend to handle Female Soldiers in enlisted. You will probably recognize a lot of the other assets as well …
Yes, there are a surprising amount of female soldiers who fought in the Red Army, dozens of whom earned the ‘Hero of the Soviet Union’ award, though many of them were posthumous, much like the US Medal of Honor.
Its not a waste of time like my ironic post up said expecially the casual player (streamer in primis)beign actracted by this and spend a lot of money, add female in war game is a money milk (BFV knows)
In red army fighting 89 years professor , it more interesting )
Reception of the game involved backlash at a lack of historical accuracy, and the game is allegedly regarded by EA as being a ‘commercial disappointment.’ I believe that you are incorrect, and that Gaijin going down this route may well result in Enlisted ending up being a ‘commercial disappointment’ for them.
Yeee the trailer reception, next half million of player player play with them and ea milk money from the skin yeeeeee all winner you dont play BFV rigth?
