Female combatants

are those generic in terms of faces etc, though? for the soldier generation to not give the exact same face every time

Luckily, 55% of the voters made the right choice

nope, each models has different rigs, face, hairs and “physic” along side other stuff. usual cosmetic for battle royals. made somewhat good for money.

I’m just glad this game isn’t made in the US where wrongthink now infects the entertainment industry.

I think at this point they need to focus entirely on building a foundation of iconic and highly recognizable WW2 elements. In this regard the current direction of Enlisted is already a bit questionable, I doubt they can afford to deviate any more.

My only question is, do you want to have a Battlefield 5 2? Thank you.

I’m willing to implement it if it’s “historically accurate” and not a nightmare situation like BattlefieldV.

What’s wrong with gay women with robotic arms slamming nazi officers with a spiked baseball bat?

We are slowly geting into Idiocracy realm… wait no, at least they have uncensored symbols there.

Yes, but only in the red army, if they put the volkstrumm they would also have to put the elderly and children and I think that no game dares to place that

And it will take months to modell them all because Volksturm will require a lot of new skins

We had Volksturm rifles present in Berlin playtest but I doubt we will ever have Volksturm forces

The argumented “no” is very legitimate, but those who bringed back BFV…
Ehh, bf was not about historical accuracy for a long time but everybody kept their eyes closed 'till they heard the word “woman” i swear (i never heard any complain about fancy camo, fancy weapon upgrade, out of nowhere weapon and vehicles stats. The general look of a team that look like mercenary troop more than anything else).

Now about real argument, yes women were absolutely not representative in ww2. But this is also the case with some weapon that are in the game yet still over represented because of player choice.
Most player in enlisted try to have only the best squad, with the best weapon for obvious reason which they can get with a bit of grinding to a level that doesn’t represent reality anymore when you look at an entire game.
I personally don’t see any bad reason for female character to be in game in few major updates.
And if no women at all, what about rare weapon and vehicles ?

I am pretty much undocumented (the only sauce i have Soviet Squad Tactics in World War 2 - YouTube) so feel free to to the research for me (cuz im lazy to do it myself).

ps: Yes i did compared women to object.

There was volksturm squad in the Berlin test, some symbols where censored of course.

They didn’t really look like Volksturm to me

Volkssturm hardly ever used uniforms

There where upto 800,000 soviet women in army roles, true most weren’t front line staff, but many had basic training and carried rifles, the odd few were recognised by the USSR for acts of heroism and bravery.
Same with the germans in the dying light of WW2, up to about 40 women where issued with the Iron Cross for actions taken in the defence of germany, most of the information around the heroism has been lost, but on at least one occasion a female fighter lead a group of H-youth and held out against the red army until regulars arrived.

I think the twitch drop concept for the USSR/ Berlin would be the best idea to impliment such a thing, if they did so.

Here’s a link to the video that created the subject, if anyone is interested

(Hitler's Iron Maidens - Women Awarded the Iron Cross in Combat - YouTube)

Considering there were at least 20 million frontline soldiers (40million or so counting normal staff) fighting on the soviet fronts, that is nothing.

There were female soldiers in the soviet union that showed an incredible amount of bravery and sacrifice.

Arguing that they should not be present in a game that portraits the USSR is disrespectful and truly disgusting to their memory, they should represent as they were historical, mainly in the sniper, pilot role but medic and some tank crew could also be consider.
This should be an unlock or a rare loot from the logistics.

No other country that I’m aware besides an odd pick or by forced circumstances had female soldiers engage in combatant roles.

Nobody is denying their contributions, however they were too rare to be present in the game. Why? Because unless (or even if) RNG gives you like 1% chance of obtaining one, there would eventually be far too many on the field per battle. That would also give a bad impression, so it should be looked at from both sides. Not to mention that more development time will be needed even if darkflow tries to copy some concepts and assets (while game is in dire need for some more important changes and implementations). And of course, there is also a bit different profile to shoot.

Also I would be hesistant with “only soviet union” especially when talking about pilots. Actually RAF also had some in WW2 as far as I know.

It has nothing to do with respect.
Less than 1% of soldiers were female.
There is no way to actually represent 1% of soldiers as female in Enlisted. It would at least be like 5%

Of course it’s disgusting and disrespectful.

This is a game that you stroke a hammer and MG 42 pops up with infinite ammo and that a weapon like the MP35/L and MP28 with productions numbers under 40k where a big chunk did not see frontline combat is like the main standard smg and that a 9mm to the head at 20m does not kill you.

You are justifying the unjustifiable this is a game, this is not a simulation and it’s far from a realistic game, have some respect for the women that payed the ultimate sacrifice, instead of saying that their memory should not be celebrate especially when there was so much prejudice and danger at that time.

I understand other countries but not the USSR, games should also at least try to taught or at least point to historic facts and the soviet women combatants should absolutely be celebrate in games which they haven’t.
