Fedorov Avtomat for engineers

i 100% agree. but soviets having body armor is also unreasonable. we should also remove body armor. this can all go in one patch. alongside fix to ppsh41 dispersion and fix to fw190 flight model.

forum shows forum join date, not game join date…

fires mauser that has has almost identical stats to tokarev, but somehow has lower ROF.

Im sorry what???

Thats amazing, can you post a pic of a 10 player squad where you saw 8 of them with body armor?

Because I main Soviets BR5 and last 3 months ive noticed it on about 20% players MAX.

False memory much?

FG42/AVT saga unsolved until next patch.

Then don’t use the AVT40

Try the shotguns. It’s quite satisfying

The alternative is the Gorov LMG. But you can only have 4. Not enough for 1 engineer squad with 6 soldiers.

Man so wish Gorov was just a TT weapon, the +25% ammo/DPS boost at cost of -20% sprint is very fair. Doubt anyone calls it OP

all your complains were not a data but your subjective and wrong opinions

Tokarev bullet deals 13.2 dmg per bullet mate not 6.8, RD44 has 100 rounds and is way better than G43 Kurz, MG15 is too inaccurate due rof that’s why i’m glad we are getting MG42 100

list them, there are barely any of them

Soviet paratroopers (best in the game), soviet APC (best in the game), Fedorov MG, SU-76M, SU-100, HT-130, AS-44 assaulter squad (can have 2x recoil perks), PPSh-41 Parkerised, SVD-30, PPD-1944. You have way more great or good squads than Germany ever did.

It’s an assaulter weapon and there’s already assault engineers if you want to use it on engineers, so there’s no point

Not for all players available, only for veterans.

Look, trust me on this one. Run shotguns for a while. Get used to em. Get good with em. Talking dozens of matches here. Then switch back to the AVT 40 and you’ll have a newfound appreciation for it. Also, learn to crouch, burst fire, and switch to semi auto when it’s more effective than full auto. I can promise you that it’s plenty effective if you put in the work. If I can run entire BR V lobbies with an M1 Garand and a BAR, you can handle the enemy team with your BR V analogues

By the by, if every faction’s auto rifles were the same the game would be infinitely more boring. A little variety between them and ups and downs to differentiate them makes the game more interesting

That darn thing’s already pain enough to fight as the Allies. Screw that

Guys I think we need to just take a minute and look at this man’s username and realize how useless it is to argue with him. We shouldn’t waste our breath on someone with such low skill that they think the SOVIETS of all factions suffer in INFANTRY EQUIPMENT
The AVT 40 is almost certainly fine as is. They just need to either get some skill, or simply go back to the SVT’s and see how far that gets them

I didn’t know you are a wehraboo my dude.
Because only wehraboo would say such thing.

Lol. No. I’m not. It’s just when it comes to online games there’s a certain demographic of people whose opinion I value the least. That being said, the Soviets have arguably the best SMG’s, some of the better LMG’s in IV and V, the best manual rifle, I will admit I don’t care much for the SVT 38 but I’m also bad with semi auto’s so we’ll blame that on me, the SVT 40 seems alright so far, and I doubt the AVT 40 is so abhorrently terrible that it cannot compete in its own BR and needs buffing

That being said I’m of the opinion that all full powered auto rifles need more recoil and should be near uncontrollable in full auto much as they are IRL, but that’s just me. Also the fact that 6.5 Arasaka is very well known to be one of the weakest rifle calibers of the time should also be taken into effect both in recoil and damage consideration
But that’s assuming a full stat overhaul takes place which I doubt will ever happen despite the fact it would make gunplay infinitely more interesting and really outline the differences in the various firearms used and developed during WWII. But again that’s just me

Regardless, I’m sure it’s more than enough to deal with some Nazi scum. Just need practice to effectively use it, and use recoil negation perks alongside crouching, prone, and mounting to help make it more controllable as well as semi auto for more accurate long range shots
I’d say the exact same to anyone complaining about the FG 42, T20, or Type Hei

Wait… you play with M1 garand and you say you are bad with semis?
You bring shame to your ancestors. I hope you realise that.

Lol. Yes I know I’m a terrible American. I got bad CoD habits of trigger spam and not slowing down to accurately take my shots. I’m working on it, but it’s still there. Especially when I pick up a new semi auto. I’ve gotten pretty decent with both M1’s, but I still panic and spam here and there. I can sometimes abuse the aim assist like I do with bolties, but not nearly as often. That and I like the M1 Garand’s sight. Hooded sights like the SVT’s and Kar98k have too much steel blocking the direct peripherals around the notch in my opinion, and it makes it difficult to keep my eye on the enemy and make those minute adjustments I need to actually hit the enemy. Ending up shooting just an inch to the right or left and outlining them instead of putting the bullet in them

Just something I still gotta work on. I ain’t afraid to admit I suck sometimes and still need to git gud in some areas. Lol
