BR 5 is basically a fantasy outlaw level already, however would people be interested in a BR level that basically can fight any faction? For example, if you choose to play Japanese, you could get pitted against either the USSR or Germany, US would be pitted against Russia. This would be a way of widening the game experience without DF having to come up with all new maps, although they need to add more maps. I am not talking about making BR5 this level, but a separate level. Just a thought
No thanks. There are custom matches for that reason. I recommend lone fighters lobbies. They usually have any armies enabled

I wouldnt be opposed to this entirely. I think alternate history scenarios might be cool. Like what if the US invaded Japan. What if Germany invades England. Its not HA but it would be a cool scenario to experiemce every once im a while.

The problem is, THERE IS NO SUPPORT FOR THE DAMN CUSTOM MATCHES!! It gets even worse too! You play on console? Fuck you, half the things you’ll try to play won’t work!
I haven’t found a good custom match without a glitch. The only time I use customs is to dogfight my friend so that I can put the fear of God in that boy and so he can remember that I’m clearly Maverick in the flesh.

Yeah i hate how they treat custom match players and modders. I am a map maker myself and i feel quite dissapointed of how little the devs care about our efforts. Lots of promises were made but none delivered and the editor is full of limitations and bugs

Warthunder has alt history maps, so enlisted can certainly have some.
I wouldn’t advocate for a free-for-all, as it is the role of custom battles, but we can certainly have Operation Unthinkable in Berlin when we have excessive amount of allies players. No extra effort required.

I liked the idea can even put secret Axis weapons and allies example: Battlefield 1942: Secret Weapons of WWII.

If all fantasy weapons like AS, RD, AutoHei and T20 are moved to BR6, and BR6 is not mixed with anything else, I’m all for it!

I feel like if custom matches received some love & support from devs alternate history style custom matches could be really cool, but I wouldn’t want it in the base game. More support for customs!

So many people seem to bitch about the custom matches. I don’t know since I don’t play custom matches.
Its not bitching its fair critique. The devs have failed the entire modding community by giving us false promises. The complaints are understandable
