Faction Balance

Im pretty new to the game so im not sure on it yet, but are the German teams are juust flat out better than the Allies ? I started playing that 2 faction, and i see quite a huge gap in the teams. Im playing around BR I-II and i do around the same with both the Allies and the Germans ( except for the tanks, the German Pz III is just OP ), and what i notice that for the Allies im almost allways top 3 and its a 50-50% if we lose or win, with Germany with similar score im allways middle of the table but most games we just rolfstomp beat the enemy.

Is it just due to this event with the German MG squad or the German teams are allways this hard stacked with veteran players and stomp the Soviets and Allies?

The way lobbies fill in this game; the advantage is with whichever faction has the most people queuing up for that faction, specifically. Those willing to play a round as whatever faction will be used to (partially) fill teams against the solo queue’ers.

It is what it is, at this point.

The vets and their win leeches cycle from faction to faction. Right now, Allies has none. Good luck

There arent facctions better than another

But, there are factions for starter players like US and GER (in my opinion)

I started on that 2 too, since they got some cool looking stuff already on BR I and II, soviets only look cool for me from BR III so i left them for later.

Oh so the vets just cycle trough the current fancy stuff & now its German time. I guess i will just properly round out both my Allies and Germans for BR II ( only got the basic needs for BR II on both so things like MP-40, ZB-26 and Lancaster are missing) & go with the one which will be favoured by the trend for BR III.

Thats good to know, i was a bit worried that its like in Warthunder where US tanks are just doomed like for ever as vets avoid them due to very bad teams in general.

Is there any BR and Nation combo which are very bad MM or gear wise, or pretty much all are well balanced ?

Yes.

Once the allies… I mean soviet tommy gun gets unlocked with the event, next trend will be soviet for a while.

It switch aaaaall the time…

The factions themselves are incredibly well balanced. Some have some pros and cons. Soviets are agreed upon by the community to have the best infantry weapons, SMG’s in particular as well as the best manual gun in the game (Winchester lever action)
Germans have the best tanks and the most assault rifle options (StG and its wannabes)
Allies have solid options all round, but excel in CAS in particular. American SMG’s in particular have a higher base damage stat, and our LMG’s are top notch
Japan has…non existent equipment. Otherwise known as paper

And no, it’s not like WT where all German and Russian tanks are severely undertiered compared to American tanks to the point that they’re entirely outclassed in armor and penetration from Reserve to Top Tier. It’s balanced. Thanks in part to the MM system

nope US is the best one to begin in the game GE can be annoying cuz some of their stuff needs practice to be used ( Sturm pistole, 37mm panzer, Puma, breda mod 30.) overall is a good faction but if i was a newbie y preffer to play US due free AA, flamming tank, comfy scopes in rifles, and good planes : )

Yes US seem to be the easiest to do well as an infantry for me too, the 4x Sten + 2x AT with M1 Carbine seem to be my strongest inf squad by far, and likely the Lancaster will be even better.

On the other hand the German Pz III with the short 75mm feels just way superior to anything i got on the Allies, but it isnt that hard to take out with a M1 Bazooka.

Sofar i would say the US around BR II is better in close combat and AT infantry & the Germans are better on a bit more range with the Tanks & MG-13… And now that i pay a bit more attention it is mostly the bad Allied tankers who bleed a lot of tickets trying to take a PZIII N or PZ IV frontally in Stuarts.

Is it going to effect low BR Russia too ? Or just the top BRs ?

As already mentioned all nations have pro’s and con’s. Some nations have slight (dis)advantages in some BRs, but overall it ist mostly balanced (except soviet smg’s and semi rifles which overall are the best in the respektive BRs and/or the lack of a decent axis machine gun with 100+ rds. Some call it bias, some call it “historical correct”…).

I am axis main and 99,9% of the tech tree is unlocked. I play since some years and can tell you that the main player base is switching fractions frequently (depends in events, buffs, new stuff,…). Some weeks ago axis suffered extremely hard and even as axis veteran player it was impossible to win a match. Often 9 out of 10 matches were defeats. Now they became stronger again because the player base is more balanced out again.
The main playerbase will switch to USSR when they will archive the new event squad - trust me.

Enjoy the early game and low BRs. Its most fun, I totally abandonded BR4-5.

Yeah but the Allies suffer in the teammates department. Either we get all the newbs, or we just don’t get the vets for very long on the occasion they migrate over here. Whatever the issue is, Allies have consistently had some of the most disgustingly garbage teammates I’ve ever seen in any video game. Comparable only to American teams in WT that I’m aware of. Lol

Other than that though, fantastic faction with some of my favorite weapons of all time. PRAISE BROWNING!

That’ll bout sum it up right there. I don’t like the British SMG’s all that much personally. For one, British. Ew. Secondly, they have a lower base damage and just feel weaker cause of it. The Lanchester may have next to no recoil and feel good to shoot, but it just can’t seem to put anyone down for me. The M1’s and M3 on the other hand, now those, unironically, have stopping power in comparison. Noticeably quicker TTK than the Sten and Lanchester. Plus the Sten looks and feels poor. The crude irons ain’t going it any favors, and it’s probably about as if not less stable than the Thompson’s. Granted, all of this is my opinion and I absolutely am biased, but still that’s just how I feel bout it
The M1 Carbine I feel is cucked in this game. No RoF, no damage, no accuracy. Yeah, it’s a round nosed bullet. It’s still a carbine and a .30 caliber round. Sucker’s gonna punch a decent hole in ya. Sure, it can get the work done, but dang it is it just done dirty in Enlisted

Really? REALLY??

Ungrateful colonial… :stuck_out_tongue:

especially late br.

Br 1 and 2, are really well balanced among factions, even Japan! Br3 is still ok thought there’s a bit of oddities favouring (a) certain factions (bias?)… then br4 and 5 are really influenced by which event is going on and what last unlocks were.

Not my fault I was raised in a way that made me view Britain poorly. That’s just a combination of patriotism and a love of history. Lol. It’s all jokes anyways. Love ripping on Britain in particular just because of that connection between our countries. Almost like how siblings fight and whatnot. Although, it certainly doesn’t help that most Western Europeans I’ve had the displeasure of conversing with were all scum that have made me view Europe in general in a negative light. Seriously, it’s rare I have good interactions with Europeans. Found a few decent people here n there, but most of them…I’d have been better off never interacting with them
It’s a shame really. But, is what it is. I’ll still crack my “red coat” jokes nonetheless

It’s all good, fella. One of my best friends is American, so I’m no stranger to him taking the piss. I give as good as I take, too. And yeah, he calls me a Redcoat a lot!
