F2P all rounder Squad

this is the most balanced squad composition I could think of, I hope it helps new players who have to decide how to set up their squads at least at the beginning before deciding their own style of play

my f2p all arounder line up will be 3 assault squads with 1 having a sniper, 1 with radio man and 1 with bomber and the sniper one will have 2 engineers with the other 2 having 1 but get a gunner

How you build your squad is even more important than the squad type. and how you play, not everyone play like you and me, for example a friend keep 2 sniper squads and with one gunner squad.

edit: forgot to mention I play with one rifle, one engi, and the third is what i wan’t to do next with my guys. One match with sniper, then assault, etc.

No engineer? Congratulations. You are useless garbage for the team.

I try to put 1 engineer to all squads. It is the thing that wins battles. It is sad that I often end up the only one building spawn points. When one side does and the other doesn’t it is always pretty one sided match. It always gets me angry when my spawn point gets destroyed while my engineer is dead and other squad in rotation is in process of grinding to unlock the slot. I have lost several games that way and exactly from that moment things went really bad for our team until I managed to spawn new engineer. This is really bad in Tunisia because engineer is pretty far in the campaign and I have mostly stock squads there and have to fully rely on others which often ends up with nobody building spawn points at key locations.

my line up is
2 assault squads with 1 engineer, 1 radio man, and 1 gunner.
1 gunner squad with 1 engineer, 1 radio man, and 1 bomber.
Maximum killing capabilities for rush-gameplay in my experience :v

engineer is a must, because i always build rallies

Couldnt say this better myself.

each player who doesnt have atleast 1eng/squad is worse than a bot in my mind

Honestly having no engineers in a squad hurts the team, rally points, ammo resupply points and defensive entrenchment on a objective is very necessary for a team to win and every little bit including sandbags in certain positions help so much.

since you can get gold orders eventually. my berlin lineup its probably the one i m trully happy with and trully enjoy playing with, i usually just play berlin with the first 4 squads on my lineup. ; (was also, obtainable as a free player).

i dont camp, i m always moving, so i need fast shooters on my hands. mgs/smgs are the way for me. semi autos just because i cant take another smg

always 4 assaulters. 1 bomber 1 engi 1 MG
3 gunners 1 radio man 1 engi 1 trooper.

snipers, flame , mortars etc are as useless as they get. too slow and not as efective as having a gun in the hands on the frontline,

best ingame squads i currently own for me :3 the weapons / perks / etc suits me like a glove!
again, fully f2p obtainable (if, used the gold orders on berlin from previous and current BP)

in normandy my f2p squads as follows:

lol… i just have 1 inf f2p squad on normandy us :Z

tunisia axis, nothing special there, just fully leveled the campaign and forgot about it. isnt that fun to play

alies on berlin,

goes around having the max RPM avaiable at all times on most squads possible. its a fun campaign but i havent invest much into it, some games now and then because its fun to run and gun 71 bullets over and over again . lol

squads with 9 troopers , are only usefull for enemy tanks to chew. i strong recommend new players to avoid them since assaulter or mg gunners, can run a “compact” squad with all u need at any given time,
8 AI soldiers behind you are just usefull for the enemy to rank kills.

imo, ofc.

machine guns.

In Tunisia I would replace the rifle squad with a radio squad.

Smoke arty is invaluable.
At least until you Alec Baldwin it with HE.

Mmh those squads examples from everyone are indeed the best choices for kill collectors that ends up having good scores (and good xp) very call of duty “esque” oriented.

What isn’t mentioned here is the fun factor (which I personally value more than anything). It is true now that mortars, flamers, snipers (Exept in Moscow, snipers in Moscow are real terrors) are not the most useful classes, especially for kill collectors. But… are they FUN to play? Yes, definitely. And each can be useful to the team IF played correctly.

  • You know your team is attempting a charge (from the minimap) on a very well defended point? Mortar it to oblivion. Once out of shells, join the fray.
  • the enemy is in a bunker, OR you wish to surefire (pun DEFINITELY intended) the defence of one? Flame it’s openings. Nobody will jump through. Youcan also have 2 smg guys in this squad if 2 flamers were not enough FIREpower (ok I stop) for you.
  • you noticed the enemy love to abuse engineers powers with AT guns, AA guns or lmg nests? Disrespect him and pop the guy maning the construction one by one with a sniper, then pop enemy reinforcements from afar, crippling their squads. (Or in Moscow charge with mkb42h, and dominate the battlefield)

Were those examples ones that will help you grind, collect xp and kills? No, ahah no. But will you enjoy playing them? Chances are that yes.

In the end, dear new player, consider your goal first:

  • You want to collect kills and lvl fast with CoD like play? Bring as many smgs and lmgs as you can, and win.
  • You want to have fun? Then experiment with everything, find your own style, and enjoy.

But above all else:

Play Moscow™

its interesting you dont use engineer in assaulter squad , i must have it everywhere except rifleman squad

He has a dedicated engineer squad. I was in a battle on his side and he was far from being useless (carried the team to victory).
I agree that having an engineer in each squad is a good idea, but everyone can have his own play style. Enlisted is not a full time paid job, so everyone can have fun as he wishes, until he does not ruin all other players’ games.

all armed with stg44

the composition that I have chosen allows you to use all the classes of soldier obtainable from the perk squad, for this reason I call it balanced does not have anything to do with the style of play, on the contrary it allows you to perfectly understand the dynamics of the game without sacrificing mobility, performance and power of fire, suitable for all situations, but each uset has his own style so mine is just a suggestion

in my opinion having a dedicated engineer squad is more useful than having an engineer in each team, but that’s just my idea, frankly I also had a lot of engineers, first, then I got bored with doing, "bob fixes it all ", while the others never do anything, and I changed composition, now I only help on my shift

in tunisia you replace the infantry squad with the radio squad just to not see the german pajamas :smirk:

because I had no more room

don’t waste time with him, or whoever likes him, it’s more healthier ignore, then what game we played together I don’t remember
