Exactly, it’s suprising how hard many players find this particular aspect, but they do. Don’t sell yourself short, its not op you’re just good at killing tanks
Once again another nerf my tincan counter topic…
So how would you balance after nerf? You didnt mention it in your starting post… you know, if devs nerf biggest counter to something they need rebalance that ‘countered mechanic’ too.
Mayby make tank limited per player and unrepairable?
Imo that would be pretty much ‘in line’ with your suggestion…
if 1.2 kg tnt cant destroy tank i doupt broken gun barrel or engine block that got shot to half could be repaired in the field…
i find it too OP… like sure there should be a grenade for killing tanks that’s why i suggested the satchel charge its historically accurate and was known as the M37 Demolition Kit in the US army. it was specifically for tanks and other demolition work and would work extraordinarily well because you could just throw the bag on the tank and 90% of the time the shoulder strap would get stuck on something and then the tank cant run away from it

no like a grenade that only AT squads can equip… and im not saying explosion packs shouldn’t be able to destroy tanks if you hit it with multiple packs that should be a thing because it would be realistic.
Like actual at grenades, such as the rpg-33 and the sticky bombs and that one magnetic shaped charge which name escapes me right now?

yea would be cool to see some ST grenades also but infantry grenades shouldn’t be able to decimate tanks in a single grenade

Well they should take down a tank in a single hit if they are used properly. That is why they where used in the first place.
how do you not expect me to do it when i can deal with something that’s massacring my team by simply chucking a cooked pack at it
no they were used to disable tanks they usually didn’t have enough power to penetrate the hull but they could de-track it or break the axles or any smaller unhardened parts because an incapacitated tank isn’t very threatening like whats it gonna do aim its gun at you… you can defeat that by taking 2 steps to the right…
Well you quite clearly noted that its too easy for you to kill other tanks with detpacks and thats what bothers you.
Then DONT do it.
If your such a pro player then proceed to convince the enemy tanker get out of tank by singing love songs nexto hes / her tank or write a poem to chat and finish them off with kindness.
Should be enough challenging for such pro player as you are.

I think they have reduced throwing range of det packs now, as I’m usually a great shot, but now fall short in Tunisia alot of the time?
I think without them Tanks would be too OP though.
Definitely would be OP without detpacks.
Molotovs will kill the tank, no doubt.
Stickies will paralize it unless they where thrown on the top. Then it is a kill.
Rpg 43s, will go thru 75mm of armor something like that.
And the magnetic shaped charges are placed directly on the tank, but will kill it for sure, with more than 100mm of armor penetration.
yea without a specific grenade that is specifically for AT tanks would be a little powerful but thats what the Satchel Charges or M37 Demolition Kits would be for on the AT Gunner squad. it would also make the AT Gunner a more viable squad to play
yea, would be really nice to see some more grenade variety but at the same time these dynamite packs need to be toned down because they aren’t actually that powerful…
But at squads are really viable at all campaings where they get ‘rocket launcher’. Leaving only moscow squads ‘not so good’
Edit: so those at nades could be pointless or even nerf if at soldier give up regular grenade for it

sure AT launchers might be viable but why would people bother using it when everyone can basically turn any squad into an AT squad by equipping an explosion pack…
