Explosion Packs are too powerful

Every squad can have an at gunner, mg gunner, engineer or radio man and other non standard equipment so it’s useless point out how in real life the infantry didn’t have this or that.

For me even if they rework the det pack I’m not gonna use the at gunners anyway, I don’t like them I don’t want to waste time using them but this is just my opinion

But as I say I don’t care if they rework the detpack or not, I will simply begin to kamikaze with planes for killing tanks or using other tanks not a tragedy.

well i guess im overgeneralizing things and i forgot that people cant reach conclusions on their own here… when im talking about “infantry” im referring to squads like your front line foot soldiers…

  • Assaulter’s
  • Machine Gunners
  • Flame Troopers

And then when i say “specialists” im referring to squads with a role outside of running in and kicking ass

  • AT Gunners
  • Mortarmen
  • Radio Operators
  • Engineers
  • Snipers

yep and thats perfectly fine, even if they add this new grenade to AT Gunners that sticks to tanks some people would just rather avoid tanks instead and just mark em for other people, but theres the few rambo’s out there like me who hunt tanks down and in my opinion a single thrown detpack blowing up medium/heavy tanks is just stupid… its brainlessly easy to do i just cook the detpack till i automatically throw it that way it then explodes as it hits the tank

and then when i go to use an actual AT Gunner its like im shooting fireworks at a tank… they don’t even fucking scratch the bitch…

Obviously iam completely fine with the fact that every each soldier is capable to carry AT weaponry.
Its by far better option as alternative is to reduce AT weapons and also reduce amount of tanks that limits the game even further.

Tanks are already powerful and only thing limiting theyr endless power is the presence of AT weaponry.

Yes we got your explanation, matador blinding MG and tossing grenade to gun this definitely happened.
Or wehrmacht magically creating IED’s from thin air because its by far more simplier than using H3 that requires you to attach the mine to tank and pull the pin which is something that requires atleast 10yrs of university studying to do unlike building IED that everyone can do with household items.

Id prefer AT gunners having actual AT guns limited to AT squad only. Even tho id find it slightly amusing to find out what would be your next argument to nerf AT gunners if every AT gunner in every squad could use AT gun.

Well as im often also at receiving end of the nuke I find it completely fine, with that exception that it rather replace them with actual AT weapons that has no use against infantry.
Onlyones ive seen being bothered by AT weapons so far mostly seems to be shitty tankers.

and again for the millionth time im not removing your precious throw-able detpacks but i am asking that armour thickness be taken into account… because at the moment 1 detpack will blow up a 152mm thickness tank the same way it blows up a 6mm thickness tank… the difference between 6 and 152 millimetres is quite large when your talking about armoured steel…

that was the entire point of the other topic you keep giving me a fucking hard time about was about… im trying get the detpacks redone so they are a completely unique explosive and not just a more powerful duplicate of the frag grenade but every time i suggest nerfing the detpacks vs tanks a little bit you go full REEEEEE Mode

and I agreed to remodel detpack to H3 so you dont have to stay up all night wondering why in this realistic documental game enlisted detpack can do these things that hurts my feelings.

Your suggestion was to limit them AT gunners only which is a direct nerf for infantry and a massive buff for tanks. Which I have explained countless times…

Your idea of “little bit” nerfing is same as asking to remove HE & MG’s from tanks.
Which is actually a good thing, you get to nerf those detpacks that keeps you awake all night and tanks cant harm infantry. I can settle to that.

problem is that wouldn’t work H3 Charges aren’t thrown charges… soldiers were required to walk up to tanks and attach it on the side or back where the armour is weakest

no my suggestion was to give AT Gunners their own specific grenade designed for taking out tanks and thanks to your input with H3, it would be realistic to give the allies AT Gunner the M37 Demolition Kit and the Axis AT Gunner the H3 Magnetic Bomb. while retaining the detpack but making it actually take tanks armour thickness into account… if you wanna call that nerfing normal infantry go ahead and sure it is a nerf but that’s why im suggesting they add the ability to use detpacks as mined explosives… make it weaker against AT, Give AT Gunners a dedicated AT Grenade and give Detpacks a new ability plus the proper damage algorithm vs different armour thicknes… like they should be… Armour Thickness Matters…

IF and thats a big IF they addad AT granades it shouldnt be AT gunners to get them anyway as that would be pointless gamewise AT gunners alrady have a way to deal with tanks. whereas nerfing detpacks would really hurt infantry and most likely even more pople to drop the game after playing 2 matches, many people leave straight away because of things like Panther 300m behind the grayzone.
