The modern warfare event wasn’t an april fool, and devs clearly said 2 yrs ago (or so) they wanted to make an experiment with us trying it.
Also, after the war thunder br patch is released, devs will be able to release stuff in whatever direction they want, wether it be pre ww2… or post.

and honestly the ‘‘we have soo many bots already’’ okay soo what? at lest the bots play the objective and its not like most of your kills are players they are the AIs.
P.S if player numbers are such a big issue there is a very easy solution. Release the game on steam there you go instantly there are thousands of potential new player available since f2p games tend to be big on steam.

maybe not soon but in the future, they will add Cold War and even modern, there’s only so much WW2 stuff they can put in the game. the mentality of not wanting to add more stuff than just ww2 is what kills a game, eventually, everyone will have every ww2 thing and they are going to have to add newer stuff to keep the game fun for even veteran players

Instead of going by country, we go by Allied and Axis. Here is a map I made for better comprehension of the European theatre.
Axis European (they will be universal so that there will not be a separate player base)-
- They will have equipment (weapons, vehicles, etc) and squads from Germany, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Yugoslavia and Finland
Allies Eastern-
- They will include equipment (weapons, vehicles, etc.) and squads from Russia, Greece, and other countries I am forgetting.
Allies Western-

They will include African front
-
They will include equipment (weapons, vehicles, etc) and squads from the USA, Britain, France, Denmark, Belgium, Netherlands, Ethiopia, Canada, Holland, NZ (maybe), and Australia (maybe).
The Pacific Theatre-
- The Pacific Allies will include equipment (weapons, vehicles, etc) and squads from the USA, Britain, China (the cool one), NZ, Australia, Philipines, and maybe Borneo if Dark Flow is either scrounging for content or is feeling good
- The Pacific Axis will include equipment (weapons, vehicles, etc) and squads from Japan and Thailand
When you play Enlisted, you play as one of these five groups instead of 4 countries (and more coming). People will not complain about their country being left out because there will be no countries to play as, only groups or coalitions. That way, instead of creating an entirely new tree, all the developers have to do is add weapons and vehicles to the currently existing trees.
@CaptainSebekel I would like you to know I am not against the merge, but I believe there is a better way of grouping besides by country. I hope that we can understand each other better through this and help build a better Enlisted.
Your idea is still better than the merge. Even soo i’d prefer to have it split by era too since early war and late war stuff plays a lot differently.
Since honestly with the ‘‘merge’’ system might as well get rid of all squad s too and just have generic ‘‘Squad type #number’’ system as what squad it is won’t effect the weapons or equipment or uniforms that they’ll have.

but unfortunately all people can see in a game is the guns and tanks one can use
weather you like it or not it’s clear they will do it eventually… we already have a couple modern weapons in the editor.
With a source claiming that there is a 60% player base to a 40% bot ratio, we can’t afford to have a separated player base any more than the five coalitions listed. While they do cover every country and provide a functioning system, adding in an era split between the five coalitions would separate them further unless it was a campaign game mode like RS2 or RO2. It could be quite possible if this were Battlefield V with all their weapons being mixed up on Axis and Allies, but they also had a large player base.
The main goal here with the merger is to minimize the amount of losses in the player base to meet the contract goal with Gaijin. What I have been offering (besides getting rid of dispersion and upper torso damage increase) is a compromise between both parties on either side.
For instance, I suggested that we should let every Axis (Europe) engineer be able to use MKb (H) at the price of a high BR and multiply by it being equipped to be an engineer to compensate the people who bought the Stalingrad DLC instead of ripping them off in Gold. That way, the MKb (H) won’t go unused, and anyone who tries to go all Engineer MKb (H) squads can’t cheese people who are not ill-equipped to handle them. (someone suggested that we should just let every engineer be able to use an MKb (H) instead of just Stalingrad)
With my suggestion on the merge going by Coalitions (Axis Europe, Allies West Europe, Allies East Europe, Axis Pacific, Allies Pacific) instead of Countries, we avoid the hassle of adding entirely new trees to separate the player base further while also including every country through edition of said country’s equipment, vehicles, and weapons. Dark Flow keeps its progress system as planned and without the hassle of adding new countries or angering players by adding other countries’ weapons into other research trees due to them not wanting to cause a separation in the player base. They also have an excuse to add more black people into the game as Ethiopian squads (which might bring in new players) and add in China without having to include the representation of ROC as China’s government; this makes our game CCP-friendly and eliminates the threat of censorship.
Anyone who objects to the addition of Ethiopian equipment ( weapons, squads, etc.) and Chinese equipment (weapons, squads, etc.), I offer you this:

also as you a tester explain to me how an entire squad can survive tank mg fire and run through the mg fire to hit a tank with dynamite - lol only way i can see it they’re running a mod-making them bulletproof to shell proof --theirs Rank sgt getting 170 kills yet gens can manage 40 so theirs either a mod they using which bypasses anti-cheats and their immune to tank fire artillery fire
they’re also behind the lines - if i did it t after 15 seconds you’re killed, and even tanks are killed these guys constantly behind the lines killing spawn area so i wanna know what is the mod their using to get 160- plus kills cos it seem like a aimbot mod they know exactly where we are where a tank is hidden an boom all dead tank n crew - I’ve played cod moh etc - I can tse how these people are removed from the game
We could get a sword-fighting theme for the April Fool’s Day event if they added the Chinese and Ethiopians (see my post above).
Maybe even add a new animation when swinging the Ethiopian Shotel sword. Who doesn’t like sword fighting, after all?
If you’ve seen the big action mod seeing how that works and what you can do in there you should stop focusing on the future and Cold War stuff and focus on the content we have right now there’s a lot of good things we can expand upon but we just don’t have the resources right now there’s a lot we can do with what we have it’s just we’re pressuring the devs for more weapons and more stuff instead of reinforcing what we have right now.
Game has literally steam api dll, inside logs you can find steam and epic games store mentions. Game should to launch on both in 2024 that’s a fact.
