I also think that the maps of Manchuria can be safely recommended for all combat ratings. In 1945, the Far East accumulated a large number of weapons from the 1930s and 40s. From mosinka and BT to IS and PPSh. While there was no fighting in 1941-1944, equipment and weapons were transported there all the time. So you can safely put Manchuria on all combat ratings.

Yeah this is the worst event to date, completely ruined all fun i had with the game. I don’t even want to launch Enlisted anymore as i will fill guilty of not grinding this hell of event.

Too much grind makes the event repetitive.
weapon variety is too low, most soldiers are armed with SVT-38 and Type 4 rifles, every squad should have at least one SMG, there are too many AT gunners and they should have used more than just two LMGs for the whole event.
The lack of bolt-action rifles is also very apparent.
The weapon choices were terrible too.
Since players are assigned randomly, its weapons that matter the more in balance which is why Soviets win 70% of the time.
SVT-38 has better sights and much faster reload.
Pps-42 is better than M1921 Thompson
DP-27 is also much better when deployed than the SIG KE-7
Japan´s only real advantages are
The Type hei auto (too few in numbers and too little ammo though)
The Panzerschreck which is tiny bit easier to use than the Panzerfaust.
If there were more weapons mixed in than Soviet advantages in SVT-38 wouldnt be so massive.

I don’t like the event, spent gold reluctantly and currently feel quite a lot of resentment towards devs right now,as that could have gone towards some other squad or something.
There are graphical defects, sea flickered on PS5 when looking out of SU2, B5n cockpit window, so graphic glitches really spoiling immersion.
I am now on console only to grind event as quickly as possible, please take on board feedback, -6 days of hell to go!

This exactly, Im forcing myself for the PTRS bike, but thats it, originally was going to go get at least the second 1920 thompson, but I physically cant anymore.

if you dont like the rewards good gameplay would still not make it worth wile
i only really plan to use the Thompsons
but yeah its wearing on me the clash of br weapons makes gameplay a slog
its all the misery of high br play while having youre bots armed with a mix of br weapons double hell

That’s what i plan to do. I will chill out for few more days and then grind up to the bike so i won’t need to waste silver to get it from box. Tiger will be the last vehicle in the box so it should be easy to get after grinding 200-300k silver or even less.
Gaijin wanted to increase fomo and force us to play every day but in reality they made us ultra tired of their crappy event and play even less than usual. Anyway i go back to playing Grid 2008, so Gaijin have fun with your emptied out servers, do better next time.

I dosn´t wanted to be critical to this event… but this event suck. One example… you find APC, you want to destroi it but your soldier has smoke or granate and you have to switch to soldier who has but in the same time (Stupid AI) are dead or you only switching to deathcame of them one by one because enemy is spawning on those APC …

You guys are really the worst production team. Since this year, everything has become strange. First, you procrastinate on version updates, then create cheesy activities (Metal Storm), then never release a marathon team again, and finally bring up this bunch of cheesy activities. Who knows what you’re thinking? If you create a new map for testing this event, I won’t say anything. You just copy the map of the United States and Japan, add the Soviet Union, and use it for your so-called testing? And then try to make the players feel as uncomfortable as possible, as they cannot choose the skills of the activity team by themselves. Do you think this is interesting? Perhaps you have never played the dog poop activities you created yourself, and I will never recharge a gold coin for your game again!

Why bother pretending to be dead on this forum? More than a hundred players feel uncomfortable because of this activity mode! Not to mention the introduction of this activity that makes even children laugh! Your production team has really created ‘history’ again. As far as I know, this activity was created last year, but we can see that the production team has hardly made any changes to it, just brought this piece of crap up! What are they doing? Why is the game production capacity so low, and this year’s version update is also unusually perfunctory!

Why haven’t the profits been changed yet? The profit from this activity is almost equal to the profit without a premium account!!!
…they started fixing my bug reports, even the older ones. So something is definitely going on in the background, even if not groundbreaking. But they also released Berlin low BR without map preference system, not allowing me to opt out in 2 clicks, so… That’s plus one and minus one likes from me.
I like the event as I don’t want to grind it to the end and it had some of the most fun matches this year, but pro players with already maxed out squads or those who don’t like to play with Japan / these maps will surely hate it.
I would like to see a similar event between British and Italian army in Tunisia, only 7 days long, 8K or 10K limit and with score accumulating, not closed daily.
As I see, pros:
- XP progress for squads and research
- a lot of equipment new to me
- lots of squads, though I guess I use only the 3+1 infantry mostly
Cons:
no progress in research tree(my bad, it does
)- I hate the 12K limit, 8K would be doable, 5-6 matches per day is too much for me
- missing some explosives, anti-air, Type 97 AT rifle, shin gunto and axe in the loadout
- Japan planes weren’t convincing
