Just a quick note about this event:
If you’ve already unlocked the squads featured in it, you can still use the event as a great opportunity to level them up. Even though the predefined squads may seem unbalanced, they’re still significantly better than their base, unupgraded versions.
With that in mind, here’s a list of the squads — you can use the standard game mode to unlock as many of them as possible.

How I understood it: your teammates’ gunners just grabbed their swords and jumped over into the nearest enemy plane for some melee fight. Now I learned not only infantry can skirmish.
A better idea going forward when having to get XP points per day to compete the levels is to actually reward ALL points earned in the battle to the player. Right now you get your individual point total as a reward BUT it should also include the total earned in the battle that includes all multipliers for Battle Hero awards, x1.5 for the win, and the Premium members x1.5 booster. This encourages all to play the objectives and not just farm individual points making the match better and encourages people to have Premium accounts. Win-win as Gaijin gets money and players don’t have to grind for hours a day.
Also, people take vacations and such so making events run longer and having a gold buy in to grind at a players pace is FAR more beneficial then a 25% booster and a name tag. Some days I have hours to burn through levels while others I have no free time…it’s discouraging to players if they already miss events or know you don’t have the time required to finish the levels…especially since the Victory Silver boxes aren’t around a lot and pull rates for missed event weapons, vehicles and squads are BRUTAL…millions in silver and still need 26 squads…please bring them permanently to the shops. @MajorMcDonalds
Agreed…I don’t mind playing Japan in this event, I’m winning more then playing the Soviets but man alive did they make the Japanese soldiers slow runners who gets winded easily!
10 last games :
1x russian : 1 loose
5x japan in a row : 4 humiliating looses / 1 win
1x russian : 1 win
3 times japan in a row : 3 overhumiliating looses
Make something that we don’t go more than 2 times in a row in the same nation! I’m litterally loosing my goddamn nerves!
And please don’t allow more than 2 person playing together in stacks, it just litterally massacre the games for solo players: Just got in a game witth 2x4 stacks in the russian teams. Those event should be played individual.
That’s what I’ve experienced in the 3 days I’ve completed my daily event task so far, too.
If randomizing the faction choice supposedly fixed any and all balancing issues with this event, then Darkflow Software should be transparent with us and share their internal win rate stats for this event.
If the balancing is good and if we exclude the first event day, then surely the win rates for both factions are going to be very close to 50%, and sharing these stats will alleviate the “subjective” balancing concerns of this community.
What a boring tryhard event as per usual, fcking grind and zergrush of tryhards running rampant, nothing reminiscent of ww2 combat.
and why a fake event? how hard was it to wait and make a manchuria campaaign where we could’ve had low tier AND high tier matches representing Battles of Khalkhin Gol in 39 and the Soviet Invasion in 1945
Also matches with premade Squads that ain’t our own is a shit way to do it. no immersion at all.
ALso ur Premades are weird, equipment and loadouts are not in my flavor.
Hopefully this wet fart of an event will be a lesson. They can look at how many people said “Fuck this event” (Me included). These guys are the M"SHE"U of FPS WW2 games.
So far, from what I saw, the event is nothing but a few guys in tanks and planes kill farming, while the rest are either trying to play the objective or just running around. Yes, this’ll really test the balance!
the saddest part is that the tryhard zergrush call of duty gogogo mentality is so ingrained in their brains, so deeply imprinted in their nature, they literally cant stop themselves from doing it even when it is in direct opposition to the event objective (the shorter the match, the lesser the points gained).
its exactly like the old tale of the scorpion and the toad. they just cant help it, its in their nature.
tortoise and the hair scorpion and the frog is about nature it was in the scorpions nature to sting
but how does letting the enemy take the objective lengthen the match,
youre right if both teams sit on there but and shoot at each other do that.
but if one team goes for the point is taking it you have to go and push them off.
I actually like the event - but that’s probably because so far I was winning more than losing with Join any, and almost half the matches were determined with the last hundred tickets on the last point which is a surprisingly even fight, not something I’m used to in Enlisted. There are pro teammates and I often land below #6 in the final ranking which is sad but also realistic when actual players are in my team. And saw more Japan wins than Russian, which seems strange based on others’ feedback.
Made me try out the different weapons and grenades though… Unintentionally. I’m happy about the number of squads, 3+1 is quite limiting in Japan in my normal matches. Maybe their hidden intention is to make people try out premium’s benefits. I’ll definitely have to buy another slot for Japan at least…
Also I see this could be transformed to some sort of short historically more accurate events or permanent custom games with the premade squads, where not every soldier is a superman with two LMGs or 3 detpacks. I enjoyed that our performance does not depend on who collected more stuff in this game and whether he’s with us or against.
Unfortunately, “low tier Khalkhin Gol” and “high tier Manchuria” is a common misconception.
Remember - Khalkhin Gol happened in 1939.
Soviet low BR (1-3) has
T-34 (1941)
KV-1 (1941)
PPSh-41 (1941)
IL-2 (1941)
PE-2 (1941)
T-50 (1941)
PPS-43 (1943)
T-60 (1941)
T-70 (1943)
MiG-3 (1941)
Yak-1 (1940)
Hurricane (lend lease after 1941)
Aerocobra (lend lease after 1941)
P-40 (lend lease after 1941)
Bazooka (lend lease after 1941, not used by USSR)
Panzerfaust (1943, German)
MP-40 (1940, German)
not to mention fake stuff like Fedorov 1912 or Uragan
None of these have anything to do with Khalkhin Gol 1939.
In order for it to work we need BR0 as Red Army 1939 and ±0 MM for the Khalkhin Gol map.
Needless to say, “Manchuria” will not have anything to do with the actual Manchuria either.
AS-44, RPD, HoRi and AutoHei simply didn’t see the light day in WW2.
The Actual “Manchuria” would need to be capped at BR3, then it would have at least a little bit of credibility with PPSh vs Type 100 and BT vs Chi-Ha which were all used there.
Yeah, because the most favorite Soviet BR3 tank (KV-1) was definitely very common in Manchuria. Same goes for SVT-38.
It’s just your obvious double standard to cherry pick what you find acceptable. Limiting the whole playerbase according to what you see fit. Benefiting literally no one but yourself.
You know, boys and girls, how much I love this game.
You know how I waiting for a Soviet-Japanese front.
Yesterday, after playing two games at the sixth stage of the event, I was angry and upset. Why? I had a great time all day surrounded by good people. Until I started going through the event. My SVT did not catch up with the opponent on the 10th stage. So my teammates were only thinking about the points they scored. I couldn’t change the settings. I do not know what to do. After I took a stage with the motorcycle (chopper), I thought about stopping the event. But in the end, I decided to leave some feedback.
Why can this be? In this game, a great advantage is to customize your sets to your liking. And when you’re deprived of it in everything - in squads, in perks, in weapons and their limited ammunition, it becomes uncomfortable. When you can’t hit an enemy with no perks and not upgraded SVT or Type 4 from a few meters away. It’s already becoming an obsession.
Again, you know what I think about the project and the upcoming Soviet-Japanese front. I’m really excited about it, but there’s something wrong with the event.
