Enlisted, Steam

You should think about connecting the game with steam or another platform where ppl can speak free.

At the moment it seems that Gaijin want to go the step removing War Thunder from Steam to get bad feedback, reviews better in control. I don’t want to go into details with War Thunder, because here it is about Enlisted, but it shows me that I cannot trust a F2P game that is not open for player reviews.

as soon as they do, they will immediately receive negative ratings. players will remind them of bugs, broken promises, and so on. while they will not have the possibility of moderation. will have to work.

Considering the absolute fireshitstorm War Thunder is experiencing with steam reviews right now i think the chance of a steam release is pretty low.

If they do it, they do it despite the free speech and certainly not because of it

Enlisted is still a baby in my opinion. It is in the process of growing into a good game, and this is its cradle.
The outside world (Steam) is not ready for him.

Enlisted’s dev is also having a good record of not deliver their promise. Like recent Stalingrad FAP discontinuation.
But it is still a lot better than WT’s team. Mostly because it’s still not the time to milk the players that hard, as still in beta.
I am a bit worried of by the time Enlisted entering final release, it’s the time to mill the crap out of players.

Steam censors free speech also

I have experienced this myself, deleted that abusive platform never will use Steam again, hope it dies

everywhere you go now there is censorship, nobody wants people to talk real talk online, they want to control everyones perceptions of everything, mind manipulation

everyone afraid of the real talk

Everyone is free to say they Option and leave positiv as negativ Feedback.

I think more the issue is there when leaving negativ Feedback mostly also insults are involved. Insults is against the Rules and this is get deleted.

If a soldier gets stuck in a window for a year, and this bug is not fixed, how can players call the developer without offending him?

Maybe Gaijin should consider some idea of buyout game or buyout DLC which give complete isolation between paid player and F2P player. I think unbalancing and sometimes fraud is a basic problem of all F2P games, because it is not possible to satisfy playerbase with huge inequality of in-game wealth, like the real society seldom make everyone happy. It is not possible to balance the power that paid payer think they deserve and the fairness that unpaid players think they deserve, except some non performance related purchasement such as skin which however may not give enough income when playerbase is small.

From this idea, I would suggest if Stalingrad campaign is a paid-to-play-only DLC, it would receive better reputation compare to the pay-to-win condition now.

But it looks like Enlisted is going to the economic mode of F2P P2W like War Thunder, instead of P2P like Battlefield.

Yet Battlerite existed, I am totally fine with cosmetics based f2p game system, with a chance to get them for free that said, that is how Smite works for example, the game so niche lived for 10 years and has a stable playerbase of around 10k people, with devs releasing some nice content all in all, new gods, collaboration skins, new map designs, new items, and unlike Paladins or League mostly bug-free, that said I donated a bit into the game, but man I did it because the pricing is adequate and you get A LOT for them, 60 dollar squads or vehicles is just TOO MUCH for pixels. What I wanted to say is that there are just more humane monetization schemes out there, evil is always just a more easier path.

They still plan to launch game officially in a few months and then launch it on X where X most likely stand for Steam. At least that was a plan before WT drama so i dunno Darkflow CEO may get influenced by Gaijin CEO, which is a a mistake since economy is much better than in War Thunder no people have no reason to downvote it for that but for bugs and braindead ai that is still crap to this day.

Literally same people

Good thing for them that they didn’t specify where they lauch.

Launch on Steam is no more, Epic is new best consor buddy

Honestly you may be right, i can’t find any credits with people that work on Enlisted or even if they have sperate CEO since it was just a speculation, i digged old stuff where they presented game during E3 2018 and Gaijin CEO was talking on behalf of Darkflow. So yeah Steam launch is pretty much cancelled at this point if he still controls both companies. He hates Steam done interview mocking Gabe’s platform and now removed Steam icon from WT website after the backlash.

They don’t have user reviews so it’s ideal for shameless company like Gaijin.

Agree, specially bad culture of management result in a bad attitude to reviews and criticism (likely even apply to them from internal). These culture suggest avoid people spotting a problem, stop people spreading awareness of a problem, force the small number of people who are affected to bear the problem, is usually a better solution compare to solve it, in terms of cost.

The attitude War Thunder and Enlisted expressed on bug fixing, and usual unnotified performance changes of weapons clearly shows this.

Im concerned about what they are doing to War Thunder with the bad economy changes could also be done to us here in Enlisted with the same publisher. We already have our own drama in terms of the poor communication regarding the Stalingrad and Pacific packs, squad slots and the new progression system.

The progression system and the merging of campaigns if executed poorly could possibly be on the same scale as what happened in War Thunder recently. Even the punishment of deserters for deserting unbalanced matches or bad maps and modes is already a huge concern.
