P-47 to from what ive heard… Heading in soon to Normandy so gonna check that claim out ^^
Yeah though 110g-2 has the same effectiveness as the 47 while being a lower level than Il-2s

At like level 4 its easily the best early unlocked plane and is still one of the best even late campaign

Normandy axis and the 110 g-2 has guns that can shred both infantry and planes alike, it’s also lvl 4

Yeah can see it now and totally understand that ^^ An 110 at that stage with 30mm and rockets. No bombs though . PG isnt that bad to though but looks a bit lighter but only 20mm and not so much

yeah… so i just finished putting 1000 rounds of 8mm with a Hs123 into an IL2 up close and personal and i didn’t even scratch the paint. Eventually it went down but i think it was due to the extra weight of the lead i shot into him 
Or the pilot died of lead poisoning or smth…

Yeah but here’s the interesting part, i kinda had the same experience shooting down the russian biplane. THAT THING WOULD NO GO DOWN. Granted is more agile than the IL2, but a sursprise 100 round burst up close from below and behind should do smth.
yeah that one to can tank some shots even with the 15mm. Usually it burns pretty fast when getting in an good salvo, but sometimes it can tank pretty good. And ive been right behind them almost not moving hammering in the 15 along with 7.9. But thats pretty rare it happens but can do from time to time
That thing had a hardened aluminium and fabric skin irl and by the looks of it the aluminium part was the engine cover at the front, the rest being canvas, so 8mm rounds should go through it like through butter

Literally every plane has issues like this. It isnt one side exclusive. Go play other factions and you’ll see it all over
Not my planes in Moscow. They can just scratch them and im done. Except for 110 ofc which can be scratched a bit more. All the other planes i have no problem to shoot down to except sometimes for the biplanes but is rare
So go play as the Russians and see if they are as good as you think or down Germans easily. Lots of one sided views here

wtf are on about…im talking about 1 plane here from many even if i do question the 4mgs on the Russian biplane a bit ^^
