Usually I keep complaining about T34s being at least 2 times as durable as they are supposed to be, however this time I will say that this patch, basically every Soviet Vehicle is massively overperforming.
Tho I haven’t gotten to play much of Stalingrad in general I remember fighting off KV 1 tanks when the campaign was new, and how they perform right now, and oh boy they are busted beyond imagination.
but whatever, its not like this is anything new, ever since they introduced Berlin it was clear that the armor balance has been thrown out the window.
But maybe this time the devs will finally have the balls to “base vehicles on their real life performance” instead of proving the existence and bias of Stalinium.
The Germans are overpowered. Fix it first.
And in reality, until the end of 1942, the Germans could not do anything with T34s and KVs without 8.8 flak. So, stop talking nonsense about “Stalinium”.
Panzer IV F2 struggles to pen both Tanks and bounces WAY too often, while also dealing pathetic damage.
Panzer III J1 should be more than capable at fighting off T34s, yet they suck pretty bad,
KV1 should in no way have better effective armor than T34s, yet they do.
all German tanks always blow up in one single hit, while Soviet tanks usually only loose 1 or 2 crew members
In reality the Panzer IV F2 has the much better gun, while the T34 has better armor - which should result in both tanks having equal “effective” fighting power, however if you ever played those vehicles you would instantaneously know which underperforms and which overperforms.
Only Pz.III Modifications M. (Ausf.M) could do this. But they were released 517 units.
T34 was released 35312. 50% - 17656.
So, 17656/517 = 34.
34 per one PZ. Nice count.
you know… realism aside, If we talk 100% from a gameplay standpoint, we would want to see “balanced tanks” for both sides, yet then I would ask you why one side gets pathetic trash, while the other one gets OP stuff?
yea normandy is pretty busted, however, I would argue that 76 shermans and the premium firefly should also have their penetration values fixed, they bounce too often as well.
