the appeal of the kv2 was that it is a unique and powerful vehicle, accessible only via microtransaction in the store. adding it into the main tech tree is a blatant disrespect to the people who bought it and supported your game. same goes for all the other premiums that have tech tree variants: there is just no appeal to it if i can get it for free

I’ve been waiting for them to add the ISU-152 for the Soviets. And I think they missed a great opportunity to finally add it. It would fit perfectly in BR IV-V (In place of the tech tree KV-2). And those actually did saw combat in the Battle of Berlin and Bagration Offensive, unlike the KV-2. Having a tech tree version of the KV-2 does feel like a low effort “copy paste”. And I’m sorry for those who bought it without knowing that they could’ve waited just a few months to get a free version, albeit with no machine gun. Just my two cents, I personally didn’t spend money on the premium one. But I’m talking for those who did.

Why you crying if anything you and those who pay premium one has ability to run back to back 152mm. Also just pixels. Tech tree one kinda handicap no mg to defend against that slow reload while hans charging with an explosive pack.

Have to agree tiny bit, it is $40 for basically extra MG (+ premium bonuses)
ISU-152/122 would have been better options IMO,
Id still prob get it once on sale, just kinda disincentivises players from purchasing if few months later a TT version keeps appearing (happend now to radio squad + event)

But that literally is the point. There are a lot of variants of weapons and vehicles. They’re neat in and of themselves from a historical perspective
I like that they added the Tiger H1 because it was the first Tiger. I certainly want the Panther D and Panzerfaust 30 just because they were the first of their kind.

If GE is lucky it Will be a meme tank since it has no MG and its turret speed, and Shell reload allows me to capture 2 cap points in a row
It can one shot a Panther and Tiger from the front consistently, and take out a Tiger II albeit less reliably

The tiger 2 can resist it’s Shells ( if angled)
And it needs to be an specific distances to be effective
Meanwhile they tiger got free food if it miss since the size of this thing isn’t helping and one Shell hit by the 88 and bye bye, it’s cannon can be disabled by shooting at it so it’s basically a is-2 but worse in some way
But ye i get if is used in correct hands can be massively dsngerous

HE shells have the same explosion pen regardless of range and angle, I’m pretty sure. I think it would work regardless of angle as long as it doesn’t ricochet.
TT version have no mg
This is a significant difference considering that the main gun takes very long to reload
Premium kv 2 should recieve better ammo, extra track armour or unique camo so it would be worth it

As i mentioned and i defend My arguments the armor and size of kv don’t helps and movility and the free TT versión nerfs so it can only be effectively used in some maps and in specific situations and also depends on the player skills
At the difference of tiger which don’t need as much skill as the kv so in summary
Could be a fear into battlefield but if the situation and the player is the correct
