The gun is largely the same as the one on the Tiger but without the protection of the armor a coax or even a roof.
But on the othere hand it will be able to sling 8.8 HE once every 4 seconds with the perks so it will shred throu infantry squads and will be a menace once in position.
But then you might just run out of ammo really quickly.
Will you try it out? Do you think it has potential? Or should you just use the tiger instead?
Imo on high BR it won’t be optimal. Same gun as tiger1 but next to no armor (relatively), probably faster reload though. And AA capability is limited to bomber formations (unless devs gave it shells with proximity fuze) because of how slow it will be (probably).
Mostly a collectible that can put up a fight if you are skilled enough.
br4(or br5. they are the same thing), open top, not the most powerful gun, paper armor(pen by anything with a pen) pretty much dog food. Only for those rich noobs or those who got too many money in their hand
If it will be good for AA, why not.
But IMO, I think it will better to had it on the TT.
I don’t want to spend money and regret it After playing 1 game with it…
Unless they have made the HE-TF work like Proxy fuse…(I wouldnt be suprised as there is no ranging mechanic in Enlisted and the arcade lead indicator etc)
If it works like Proxy fuse it could be pretty fun
There’s several parameters in which tiger is better than Panthers.
Panthers just do have way better main gun, that’s all.
This truck is definitely not going to be meta, but it could be an interesting and enjoyable premium. Especially if its fire rate is indeed that much higher and if it can reliably kill planes.
Personally, though, I think the thing that sucks the most about it is that it won’t have any gun depression when aiming forward. And to use the vehicle effectively, you have to be sideways.
But other than that, it doesn’t strike me as extreme trash.
For comparison’s sake, I care far less about the KV-2. I really didn’t enjoy playing IS-2.
Waiting half a minute and then having zero results because you accidentally hit some surface that completely absorbs the hit. Ehhh.
Or a situation where I’m aiming at the target during the reload. And just moment before I finish reloading, someone destroys or kills the target. Or the target hides behind something. I really don’t like these extremely frustrating situations.
So I’ll definitely be buying the truck first, but I think I’ll wait for a discount. Since I’m not really that interested in it.
Irl if I understand it correctly. If your armor is too thin, epxlosive filler doesn’t activate in some projectiles, and thus the projectile does almost no dmg unless it hits some essential thing like ammo etc.
But I have no idea if that’s the case in Enlisted.
