Copy paste is hurting the uniqueness and integrity of each faction.
Japan doesn’t really need StG and Tigers. Japan can easily have prototypes or weapons from other nations as sub factions, unique content that make this tech tree to differ from others.
Players don’t need it either, they already have it in the German tree.
Wanting to add those things to Japan completely destroys the concept of factions.
Copy paste is just something I don’t want to see in the game. And it definitely shouldn’t become the norm.
Btw. I don’t care as long as copy pasted stuff is not part of tech trees. I am okay with it being event or premium.
Anything after the war doesn’t count.
Maus was one of the worst examples you could have picked, but the Tiger is not captured, it was purchased so the same terms apply as to the lend-leased equipment like the M3A1 Half-track.
Japan actually transported most of the purchased weapons and vehicles to Japan, the Tiger was just to heavy to fit inside a submarine but I do know that bf-109s and Fw-190s flew in Japanese markings in the Far East.
The real Japanese army was just a bad army, unable to cope with the rapid development in the later stages of the war. They never had the ability to enter “high BR”
That is not even the point of adding STG and tiger to Japan. That problem is balance, find me any stuff from such nation, that has the power of STG or Tiger?
Soviet did have copy paste panzerfaust and bazooka for balance, I don’t see the concept of factions been destroyed.
They could only conquer relatively weak colonial and agricultural countries, and like I said Japan would not be able to cope with an escalation in the scale of the war.
I hope we can “freeze” BR4,5 for Japan to reduce player base fragmentation, but that will never happen
If DF wasn’t so stubborn with making everyone BR 1-5, we would see France, Britain, Italy easily by now.
As well as “normal Japan” without origami tanks and rice paper assault rifles.
Tiger is pretty shtt in Enlisted and Ho-Ri is definitely way better vehicle.
The stats of StG are artificially designated. Meaning any prototype weapon could get similar stats to reflect power level of StG.
Plus StG is definitely not better than type hei auto. Its only advantage is ammo reserve. But it’s limited to only specific class of soldiers.
So I really don’t understand why need to balance mediocre stuff should be legitimate reason to add copy paste.
Plus Japan is currently facing only US faction. And US doesn’t have AR as well.
Enlisted will never balanced game. The skill and quality of players matters way more than equipment balance.
Not gonna happen anyway consider their bad efficiency and it will split the player base. Moreover they can just simply copy paste stuff from other faction if they really want to BR1-5 for those faction.
