I wish everything listed there hadn’t been added/was removed.
And honestly even with all that, an iconic tank from another nation added to a nation it was never used by feels even worse than domestic war time prototypes. Too war thunder.
But it won’t allow me to not fight against fake Japanese Tigers if those get added.
A bottle of vodka has about 10-12 shots. So you can’t increase the number of shots further as (obviously) you need a partner for drinking and he needs to have his glass full too.
Or… you can open another bottle…
I guess we can now have american King Tiger in the tech tree.
I don’t understand why people are asking for a german tanks (which never reach Japan and actually served within the german military) instead of asking for Japanese tanks … I want to play japanese stuff when I play Japan, not Germany 2.0
I cant believe Im going to say this, But i think i would rather Japanese paper/prototypes/fantasy over borrowed equipment. I just like keeping nations as unique as possible.
Just because fantasy crap is in the game doesnt mean we should add more. Many nations in the War ordered tech but didnt get it due to a number of factors (for example some American built Mohawks were diverted from France to Great Britain since France had surrendered).
Excellent example of how stupid this idea is. USA tree needs Panther now apparently.
In fact sod Japanese Tiger and American Panther.
We should have Italian tanks like the M13 as an Australian tank squad since Australians did actually use captured Italian tanks in combat in real battles in WWII (they painted white kangaroos on the side)
I mean technically if we go the route of giving nations captured vehicles the US should also have a Japanese Zero in their TT as well since one was shot down and captured intact for study in 1942 which gave way for the Hellcat to be developed.
Well then if we want to have proper nations than we have to give back things that aren’t theirs in first place. Gut the Tech Trees and no lend lease for any nations because it wasn’t theirs to begin with. No Romanian stuff or Italian stuff for the Germans. No British stuff for the US. No US or British stuff for the Soviets. And no paper weapons or prototypes for any nation.
What a boring and unbalanced game we would have at this point. Good way to kill the game because we don’t want to do any what ifs or lend lease stuff. It’s too much for some people to handle, Tell DF to shut the lights off we are done here.
yeah someone said to me that nonsense argument. And for example the British did use a lot of American equipment for example. The Thompson sub machine gun was Lend Lease. Real, it happened. British and Australian soldiers used Thompson sub machine guns.
The tiger tank however was NEVER used by the Japanese. It never even go to Japan. It does not belong in Enlisted.
What I’m getting at is if DF is to continue giving Captured equipment to nations, then yes, the US should get the Tiger and the Japanese Zero. The Soviets already have German Panzerschrecks, so why not every nation have everything that was available during WW2. Since there was always a case of weapons and vehicles getting captured. And it makes sense that DF puts overly copycat nations under one nation to save space in the game. Even though I do hope one day the game expands and certain nations become their own factions, this is what we have to deal with.
Lend Lease was used by the US and British Commonwealth sure the two nations exchanged a lot and had the supply lines to get the weapons into each other’s hands. In the case of the Japanese, they DID BUY THE TIGER from the Germans. Therefore, it is a part of the Japanese army. It makes no sense why this concept is so hard to understand. It doesn’t matter if the tank never made it into combat, there are plenty of weapons that this game has to don’t even exist outside of blueprints or the one-off prototype. Why does the Japanese army getting a Tiger tank scare you so much?
lol so one German stuff will make Japan become Germany 2.0. Using your logic it can only become Germany 3.0, since the 2.0 was already taken by the Soviet.
Apparently Germany itself can also take Soviet 2.0 title.
By the same logic, all Axis weapons that was captured and studied after the war should also belongs to Allies?
Like the Soviets assembled the remains of maus so they should get maus?
If Japan had signed a contract “we will have a single example of each of your equipment” but just like with the Tiger nothing would have reached the German ports even, that wouldn’t mean “MP-43 and Me 262 are Japanese equipment of WW2”.
Imo the japanese tiger is inevitable. Its just a matter of time, Japan is strapped for premium/event content as is compared to other nations. It will happen eventually.
