You talk about the infamous division but you don’t talk about those who fought for the Russians in Leningrad, the air battalion of 6 planes that all died and the machine gun battalion that was defended by a Basque and in the end they all died, they also defended Stalingrad with what they left from leningrad, they would be a good event squad

Waiting those 4 days for the supposed German reinforcements of the 4th infantry division, which never arrived, and the only support they received was air help on the last day, and they still defended Krasni Bor and won the battle. Surviving 1000 of them.
