Divide Teams into 4 Squad Platoons in Game..!

Divide Teams into 4 Squad Platoons in game: so you can work together with your platoon on certain objects while other platoons work on other objectives together so you can actually do platoon size attacks on positions, also limiting 1 Vehicle/Plane per Platoon only 1 can be spawn-able at one time, Maybe hopefully introduce mic chat on consoles which you can use to talk with your platoon or whole team.

How Platoons will be created: When you start a game it should already automatically put you in a platoon with 3 other people or you can leave and join another platoon and if not in a platoon it will force you to join one. Whoever has highest Ranking based on ranking system if they Lieutenant, Major, Brigadier or General ranking n etc. will automatically become the platoon leader, that’s one way to make Ranking system useful and the leader can put way-points for platoon to command them where to attack or defend and anything else it wants them to do like where to set up defenses or rally points and etc.

Team Commander: Can even have a commander for whole team who gives orders to platoon leaders, creating a little command structure so game can be played in a organized manner instead of a free for all with no coordination between teammates/platoons. The commander spot would have to be applied for and the person with highest ranking would be chosen if multiple people apply for it.

Divide Lone fighters into Squads: In Lone Fighters game mode samething should apply but instead divide them into squads…

Have suggested this before but thought i suggest again for discussion.

ah, like battlefield.

whether it’s cool.

in this fast phase game i’m not sure how it would work.

people can barely place rallies, and camp with a tank or sniper. and you expect them to go willingly to capture a point even when ordered?

which it’s worthed to note, ranks means nothing in this game.
it just means how much you have played.

therefore, not always worthy of leadership.

it sort of work already like that, but if you are in an actual squad.

the part that i don’t like though, is that you can spawn on your own allies. even inside points.
bots abuse this mechanic the hell out of it.

Lone fighter already do this and you can use allies as rally point to

Yes sort of like battlefield games but also like real life, Armies have command structure.

It would help team coordinate attacks better by making different platoons concentrate on different objectives so they have directions where to go and what to do and attack as a platoon being more effective then attacking an objective alone. Whether they want to or not thats up to them, the platoon leader can always kick them and would be bouncing around platoons forcing them to be a team player…

Yes it would make ranking system more useful…in real life your rank doesn’t always reflect if your a worthy leader or not just how much experience(in years) and accolades you have attained to get promoted not even how many battles you have taken part in or won. In this game its more difficult to attain and keep a Rank because it depends on how many games you have won and lose a Rank if you lose too many games.

Such features would be more suited for HLL, not Enlisted.

I definitely do not want random casuals to have such high impact on my gameplay.

I have said this for years
As long as there are Events/Daily’s people wont work as a team, in general, they concentrate, on getting these tasks done, before thinking about game play.

Would you want to attack an objective then find out your the only one attacking it, would be nice to have support from a platoon(2-3 other squads) attacking with you. In an attack squads aren’t suppose to work independently they are part of platoon doing platoon size attacks to be more effective.

Being in a 4 squad Platoon giving direction where to attack and who with shouldn’t hinder you from getting 50 kills or finishing a battle or spending 12 minutes in battle to complete those tasks…

Nah. Most people in this game can barely put up a fight for themselves, let alone work as a team.

This is supposed to be a semi-casual shooter that isn’t as crazy as CoD/BF. Go play something else if you want to full-on serious co-op milsim.

Will never happen as long as you build rally point near the objective.

Plus as I have already said, the feature you have suggested would way better fit for more larp game that has way bigger incentives on using mics.
Enlisted is casual f2p game with playerbase that’s very diverse in skill, approach to gaming and some kind of basic understanding of game’s mechanics.

The things you have suggested are extremely naive and definitely do not belong to game like Enlisted. Majority of players would just ignore your commands. And there’s no way game should force them to obey.

Of course it would be nice. But it’s not like forcing people into it would improve the situation in any significant way.

It’s not about whether it “hinders” it or not. It’s about people’s general mindset when they play this game. The F2P grind aspect means that the majority of people are always going to focus on getting as many kills and rewards as possible, not on working as a team and getting satisfaction from milsim-like gameplay.

You will only see teammates who use game controllers. Hiding behind them all day long and using the automatic aiming function of the lever rifle and hiding on vehicles cannot effectively suppress the enemy and attack.
Then you need one person to do everything from support to destroying the tank.

You just outlined the problem “as long as “you” build rally point” so if your only one building a rally point which you can only build one of, the rest of the team isn’t helping, can tell them through radial to build one but they don’t always listen and most of them don’t know what they are doing, being in a group with 2-3 other guys would help direct them better and be more effective. Many casual f2p game fps games have this structure and it works well have you ever tried planetside 2? so i dont know why your being so hostile to the idea…Incentives are being effective in an attack like if you want to flank.

If they ignore then that’s on them…Same way they ignore when you tell them to build rally points or attack a zone and their off doing their own thing, there will always be those type of players. You shouldn’t build games catering to those players

Just use the pre-made chat option and tell your teammates to build more rally points.

Will most of your teammates build one? I doubt it. And would your suggested features change anything about that? Not really, because the players will remain the same.

You just want to complicate things while naively believing that something will change.

Ye that’s what i was talking bout when i said through radial.

Thats the point of it to better coordinate your team and the people in your platoon to guide them what to build and where to go if they can…too many times you see people building rally points in bad places like few feet away from main spawn point which might be 100 feet away from any attack object.

If your in a group/platoon of 2-3 other guys you can concentrate on one objective while other platoons can concentrate on another objective improving team play. That’s the point of it to improve teamwork and be more effective as a team.

Well…

And did you know you can already team up with 1-3 other players?
And if you don’t have any irl friends who play enlisted, you can make new friends on several discord groups of various Enlisted CCs.

You don’t really need ingame features for that. Especially when those features would be completely pointless in most cases. Since they would bring together people who have no motivation or ambition to communicate with each other.

The solution is ending clan dominance by reducing the amount of people in a squad to two so friends can still play together, two veteran players are still an overkill but the enemy might have a chance at least.
What you proposed isn’t a solution, you would be just forcing people into clans, :-1:t2: please go play something else like HLL if you are interested in that.

@Valkay How exactly the game telling you what platoon your in when in game putting you in a clan or ruin your game? and what’s wrong with clans? HLL is completely different game its not an AI squad based game so i don’t know why everyone keeps mentioning it…

How would that be any more effective? You’re still playing with the same (stupid) random people who are completely free to refuse any directions.
