Divide Teams into 4 Squad Platoons in Game..!

But those are the majority, and there’s no way but to build the game to account for their existence.

We’re saying, that it wouldn’t necessarily ruin anything, but also wouldn’t improve anything. It’s totally meaningless.

It doesn’t work.

Lets be a little pessimistic to innovation to improve the game and not let the wrong kind of players stop it. Most FPS games have structured teams into groups except for call of duty games which is arcade like game not meant for strategy, just run and gun blindly. All strategic games need structure.

And they terrible too. So hell no.

I also remember being held hostage by a certain squad system… ( & )

I agree. I believe that the platoons would cause the game to get gummed up and slow down to a pace that defeats the purpose of the game modes. Too many people would be stuck “commanding” and causing the team to fall behind. It’s much like the players who sit at spawn and just loiter.

As someone who is a casual player, I have two friends that I play with, and it makes us a three man squad, what sucks is the fact that players who are very skilled at enlisted will cause the game to hinder my friends, and I ability to play together. I already barely play with people, and I understand I can play custom games, but we wouldn’t be able to get the “10 players” for XP to be granted or earned.

I hope the system just stays how it is and the matchmaking is cleaned up a bit to be more inviting to new players and cause the “sweaty” players to be matched together or against each other.

I like the Team Commander From Battlefield 2 back in the day.

Wasnt necessary to have, but offered a different experience if you wished.

I could see it being an interesting addition, But purely as a support option and not so much ordering and communicating with other squads.

Stuff like

  • Placing Markers
  • Para dropping supplies (ammo, medical)
  • Para Dropping Rally points
  • Spotting plane (UAV spots vehicles in a small radius )
  • Smoke Barrage
  • Precision Air strike (long cool down)

that sort of thing. Eye in the sky, can pick up the slack on the support side that your team might not be doing.

No. Wrong. Plenty of FPS games don’t have structured teams, and Enlisted isn’t exactly meant to be a strategic milsim(but it isn’t meant to be a CoD clone either). Go somewhere else if you want to play a hardcore milsim.
