this change is not true to life and is it disgracefull that you have not only made them over heat that did fix the AA spam but now restristed it max depression to +7 even thou in real life its max depression was -10, ontop of the fact that they have not been modelled to shoot properly
and to all you soybean cry babys out there
the flak 30 and later the flak 38 were designed to be able to engage aircraft AND infantry AND light vehicles
is this game call of duty or battle field
either way this update is disgusting to the so called claims of the intention of enlisted
the scale is ok, its is nice to be able to play a game and get 20+ kills while playing against other players with the AI
and there is planes and tanks
the scale is still larger then cod and BF
Yeah their comments about realism are pretty fucking far-fetched this is the most unrealistic World War II sim I have ever played, if theyâre paying attention to anything regarding detail itâs that theyâre not intentionally paying attention to detail
Donât get me wrong the game is fun as long as you donât take it to Seriously because it doesnât take itself seriously.
Hesco Barriers in the Pacific, I mean⌠lol, What sort of attention to detail is that itâs just smacks of complete and utter cluelessness, and that is the tip of the iceberg
Yes and I think itâs complete BS that theyâll no longer be able to engage ground targets because they were intended to do this historically Iâm not really sure why they made these changes regarding the rotation speed and everything else when it was quite easy to shoot aircraft down with them as it was.
As long as theyâre up, they could make it a little more gory, I mean itâs kind of rated G the gore Department now, They could at least make it PG 13
Is an anti-aircraft gun that can be used whether in a wood planked room or on unstable wet soil , and a magic hammer that can create anything just by swinging it, realistic?
The AA spam was real, and extremely annoying. Like most, I hated it.
But it being used against infantry was realist.
What wasnât, was the building time of those. 12 seconds only (while the super nerfed lmg positions took 20s and more). Made no sense.
Now instead of the logical approach of making a sophisticated build like this AA emplacement longer⌠MUCH longer to build (even 30s), and probably use a NON shielded version to discourage spammers to build it but still let itâs usefulness intact⌠They make it unusable vs infantry by adding unrealistic angle values.
But thatâs not the worst: they REDUCED the time it takes to build them, it makes even LESS sense now. 8 seconds is almost instant for such a buildâŚ
Every time (or almost) they bring new mechanics in, itâs unrealistic or makes no sense. Like full auto squads everywhere, full fg42II squads, nerfed semi auto rof (thankfully reverted to a fun state)⌠I think the only thing they added as a new mechanic that I like is boosted bolt action damage, representing real life damage (yet they messed up ALL other firearms damage values by them not being cartridges based anymore.)
Oh well. Itâs a teenager arcade game now, so what can we do
It always was though.
No matter what is changed or how, people will , like all other FPS games find the next âThingâ because that is what people do when they are competitive.
In 20 seasons of PubG Iâve seen it. Everytime something is discovered to be powerful, its all people run, and the cycle repeats itself with every nerf and buff cycle.
We are doing it here as well. People want easy , quick ways to be powerful and contribute regardless of long term consequences.
People these days, this gen, give zero $^âŹ@&$ about long term health of anything. The games are a fix , and if the game dies they move on to the next.
Over 2 decades of watching these cycles repeat and games change tell me this is exactly what will happen here.
What is funny, hilarious, absolutely astounding, is with no changes to the guns havenât seen an FG42 thread in months now.
People forget and move on when something else takes centre stage.
Iâm still disappointed (alot) in the devs for always choosing the easy way instead of the more logical, if a bit more complicated, one.
Well. Enlisted is becoming a joke. with all the ONE SIDED censorship, it really does.
Itâs my fault for expecting better however, looking for something at least a little bit realistic, like red orchestra (I was baited by the internet main page showed by the OP up there).
The AT guns are far less spammable as the reload between shots is far longer than the full auto capabilities of AAA. They are also a little more difficult to aim. I donât think they are even close to being as problematic.
The MG nest requires at least an Engineer II Squad. Itâs very limited on turning capabilities, zoom for range is quite low, and currently itâs almost impossible to find a spot that your head isnât extremely exposed. Again, not an extreme threat comparable to AAA.
Also note that each player can only build one of each of those structures, whereas AAA caps at 2 per person, which doubles the spam.
I was honestly expecting something akin to Rising Storm/Red Orchestra too since they had all these images and videos during CAT and CBT of realistic uniforms with webbing and patches/insignias, it looked not too far from HLL but was a little more arcadey in gameplay. Now they literally got rid of all the visuals, pretty much found an excuse to add automatic weapons everywhere over the actual service rifles and BA rifles, and now thereâs so many metas that itâs just becoming WW2 in name only. Not as bad CoD Vanguard or BFV, but itâs starting to become not to far with how theyâre doing things.
guns killing people quick, the maps feeling realistic enough
German soldiers werenât running around with 1 off prototype guns.
Nothing in itâs marketing is wrong. It gives the feeling, they are careful in some respects. But in the minute details, it comes down to the average player just wouldnât care about max gun depression
