That’s what I was saying. It would just be terrible, People don’t like T3 already due to fighting T4 and T5, That would have just flat out made everyone stay at T1 or suck it up and suffer.

Sometimes it works and those matches are truly enjoyable.
Imaginary snowy USSR in 1943, Fortified Discrict, BT-7 F-32 with PPS-43 and Mosin bolt actions fighting against Pz III, some MP-40s and a Stuka above.
No fantasy Fedorov/MKB spam.
Feels actually WW2-ish.
Almost like the good old CBT days.
And it’s just a diary, maybe to look back upon.
Now then,
Game 28.
German BR3.
Uptier to BR4-5. But weirdly without Tigers or King Tigers on our side.
In the beginning it looked like it would be a wipeout.
But Allied capture times + all baloons destroyed kept the US teams on 800+ tickets almost all game.
The sweatiest match I’ve seen after merge.
And wow the American “500 lb M64A1 bomb”, I’ve learned your designation by heart now.
282 kills with 15 vehicles, I’m not sure I’ve seen that before.
The plane, whatever it is, is insane.
45 minutes of sweatfest.
But felt decently WW2-ish. Solid point.

Soviet BR2.
Obviously, Stalingrad.
Obviously, an uptier (as all BR2s are) to MP-40s and Pz IV Js (didin’t see them though).
0.5 WW2 points because F pz iv j already.

German BR3.
Looks like downtier because I didn’t see any T-34/KV-1.
Stalingrad. Univermag confrontation.
But wait! It’s actually Stalingrad! I didn’t bring Pz IV J, obviously. And the match actually felt like good old Stallingrad!
MP-40, Mosin, Kar98, PTRS, ok some PPS-42/43s but eh what can you do now.
Not sure why Pz IV shows as BR I now, maybe indicating it’s a downtier.
Probably one of the best WW2 matches I’ve had post-merge. Really tough game too, the Fallen Fighters point was contested like 4 times. Solid point.

As soon as I spawn I see yet abother Pz IV J:
The German team was completely inadequate and we lost super fast
Besides Pz IV J and FNABs, I guess almost felt like WW2.

No BS, pure WW2, nice match, solid 1 WW2 point.

Voskhod Settlement.
The Soviet team only had a few T-50s, mostly T-60/70 and the game was quick.
But felt very much like WW2. Solid point.

The enemy team was insanely coorditated/stacked, PPS-42/43s just shredded through our team.
But felt like WW2, this match also gets a point.

Looked like a weird downtier. So much down as meeting A13s in my Tiger 2.
Naturally, the Allied tanks were dying like flies

Soviet teams don’t seem to be very popular against Tiger 2, Conders, MP-717, G43 Kurz and STG, I wonder why.
Still, Fedorov and ASs just spoil the WW2 feelins (not balance wise)

Not a complete steamroll, but Soviet players vehicle choices ranged from T-70 and BT-7 to T-34-85 and IS-1.
Guess some people are still taking PPSh-41 for their BT-7 and calling it a bug when they get Berlin?

So I have played 6 games with Germany BR5 after the update trying to play the Ardennes maps, and I only got them ONCE in my first match.
Game 40.

Chancellery Conquest AGAIN.
Seriously, don’t you increase the chances of seeing the new maps after an update or something, Darkflow?
As for the match, it was surprisingly sweaty (probably our 4 gold rank players leaving didn’t help), as always ASs and Fedorov fantasy weapon spam.
So 0.5 WW2 points.

Since I can’t get the Ardennes maps for some reason, and since I unlocked Soviet Paratroopers:
Game 41.
USSR BR2.
Stalingrad.
I have no idea what my team was doing when I was building yet another rally point
As a result, we lost without capturing a single sector.
Paratroopers feel very weird in Stalingrad. But at least I didn’t see any godforsaken Pz IV Js.

You know that BR2 is always uptier to BR3? Same for BR4 uptier to BR5, while BR3 can go both ways
Yeah I’m well aware, why?
I mean why even state that if you know exactly what you are getting? Is just high or low BR, except BR2 won’t throw you to High BR… ir at least, no longer
I’m stating the BR setup that I’m running.
And in the case of meeting German BR3 with my BR2, my happiness of seeing Pz III variants instead of the godforsaken Pz IV J from 1944.
Well you will see me running in Moscow with VG1-5 and Panzerfaust in the future, cuz I dropped BR 2 for BR3 since it makes little to no diffence currently

I hate anachronistic stuff.
One day when I unlock IS-2 I’ll go to Soviet high BR only with IS-2, PPSh-41 and DP-27. No AS or Fedorov or other fake stuff.
That would be nice if those players existed but entier is becoming more of a disaster and the fake stuff is everywhere

Probably one of the worst games I’ve ever played.
Top BR at its toxicity height:
non-stop paratroopers, non-stop 100 round thompson, non-stop impact grenades, non-stop HVARs, non-stop rifle grenades, non stop colt monitor, and most likely a 4-stack
Not an enjoyable experience at all, but felt ok as far as WW2 goes. 1 point.
