Deserter Penalization

This update is getting ridiculous. You can see how a lot of people complain about it.

  1. Game Crashes or loses connection - game applies penalty despite not being the player’s fault
  2. Getting kicked for being idle - game applies penalty despite the player being afk for whatever reason (for example going to the bathroom, checking on who rang the door bell, doing something while playing during a work break)
  3. Who thought it was a good idea to penalize players? We come here to enjoy some time, not to be stressed about not getting enough points to level up.
  4. The only people getting affected be this system are the new guys who need to farm points to level up. The veteran players who have everything unlocked lose nothing with this and sometimes are the players who constantly quit games to stream or record “cool” matches for their followers. If this system is going to take place then make the research cost half the points because it is crazy to just unlock one simple thing.

My game never crashes and I never lose connection (These have happened less than 10 times in my near 3000 games.)
Not saying it cant happen, but you are still responsible for your internet connection. You are impacting the quality of matches by using unreliable hardware or connections, you get a punishment.

I dont see any problem with this, you signed up for a match and went afk, you get punished

All I see is a crybaby making stuff up to try and get the penalty removed. The penalty exists for good reason, and is working well. Time to get over it.

This one is hilarious, be an actual adult and stop playing a video game on your work break

Going AFK isn’t playing the game though. Is the AFK timeout a little short? Sure, but the answer is simple, don’t AFK when playing a game. Ignore the doorbell, and go to the bathroom in between matches. I don’t know what you mean about “doing something while playing during a work break” though.

Veteran players who think their experience is more valuable than yours. And/or is somehow a collective responsibility.

Punishing players of a F2P, casual shooter, that already has MORE than enough problems retaining players, was NEVER a good idea.

They’ll (rightfully so) never tell us if/that the game is dying, but there’s a reason player counts on Steam are the lowest IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER they’ve ever been.

I think the penalty is crap, but not for the reasons you give, but because it’s stupid that they put this up without first fixing everything that it entails xD

I have everything I like about the tree, what I don’t have is because I’m not interested, so the penalty only affects me in the silver coin gain (which I spend too much because I’m constantly buying and improving equipment and vehicles for constant br changes and everything is excessively expensive xD)

And it only really affects you for 2 games, so you just go out and play 2 games and that’s it.

I think theres a lot of better things to do instead of staying indoors during summer lol but it is a bit low compared to the release on steam

Me, devs and any other conscientious person who is bothered by having to put up with 9 useless people leaving mid-game because they “have other responsibilities.”

Then don’t play and focus on your priorities. It’s not that hard.

Well, not everyone lives in a country with reliable internet or power, which in the Philippines, I can have good of both, and bad of both at times. When I lived in the US, I only really lost internet or power during severe thunderstorms, or since I lived in Florida, Hurricanes..

I could care less at this stage as the 20% penalty doesn’t phase me since I pretty much have all squads and tech trees done, it really only hurts newer players, so, penalize away if it makes some people feel good. However it still doesn’t address the reasons people desert, and until Gaijin puts on it’s big boy panties desertion is always going to be a big problem. Fix the problem? Or continue to quibble about harsher punishments? It’s hard to care when nobody is interested in fixing the defection causes.

Your responsibility.
How dare you to live in a “shithole” and play Enlisted?

You mean people who shame people for being poor?

Very conscientious.

At no point did I mention poor people, however, it comes from the same problem, if he doesn’t have money he could secure an entire match instead of PLAYING AT WORK, are we seriously talking about being conscientious?

During work break but I guess we ignore that one.

No, I guess you are beyond that.

I didn’t mention it, I just liked another comment. You can still take a “like” however you want.

It’s still work time, that speaks to a quitter’s mentality. Work breaks are usually for eating or relaxing before continuing with the workday.

Deserters defending deserters. No new case here.

“I didnt say I want to gas the Jews. I just liked some weird Austrian dude who says he is gonna gas the Jews. Totally different.”

Not really. You are not get paid in most countries during break and as long as corporation does not ban it, you are allowed to do whatever you want, including playing a match Enlisted.

Which can mean many things but I also remember that people do not play Enlisted for fun to relax but to compete against bots and for honor.

Strawman.

What does this have to do with poor people

You would know all about that XD

Dunno, people probably have hardware or internet connection problems because they can afford it.
