Current state of Enlisted's playerbase (1311 members)

Thanks for the info.

Good thing, looks like there are more every day. Is a good sign for the game that interest is present

Not really.
When CBT started, we had over 600 new forum threads over the two forums combined. Now English sits at 50, Russian sits at 30. We have had a 75%+ drop of interest in just these past few months.

There are a handful of new players dripping in every day, but the ammount of people leaving seems to be greater than that.

I don’t know if the forum also shows the people who are not active.
Then it would probably be more than the 1300 people. Also, the Twitch Drop event made people stand up. I think a lot of people are waiting for the release. Have the feeling that the Founder package a restricts, despite the good offer. It is also already known that the game will be free2play.

It only shows people who sent messages here, it does not count players who own the game but never went to the forums.

It is still a pretty accurate metric to measure interest over time, however.

So we have 1300 people + a black number of players.
I think there are many players who play the game (without forum activity), because I noticed that there are much less bots in the matches.

The game did pick up some steam thanks to the drops. We are back up to 50 topics / week after being down to 25/week before the drops.

Still nothing compared to 200+/week from week 1.

Now it’s time for Gaijin to advertise the game.
Many streamers/viewers didn’t know about the game before the twitch drops. If the right action is taken now, we can also achieve a higher number of players again.

No. Because the game has such poor progression that it will literally die within a year if they open up now.

And that is why it is in a TEST phase ffs…

Then why are they planning on opening up the game for open / free access in late February? The news has been floating around for a while now, nothing “official” but it’s out there.

It clearly shows that they are not planning on changing the current system much. They are working on Normandy, completely leaving Moscow in the dust, to have 2 campaigns ready for OBT.

Wait…how did u say that “free access in late February” ? Where did u get that, and is it valid? And what are the 2 campaigns?

1311 is a very bad number for a game with these graphics. It’s a result for almost no marketing and most players who play the game just heard it from Warthunder. Enlisted on reddit has about 2.2K followers but they probably haven’t bought the game.

If you watched Enlisted streams on their channel, you can see that devs put a couple of warthunder geeks who never played shooters to stream their game. This is wrong on many levels, devs could just sponsor an actual FPS youtuber and by that, show to the FPS community that this game even exists. Not to mention how awful the gameplay is when you watch unqualified gamers play a game they don’t know how

Directly from a community manager, so I would asume so.

Huh, so that’s why he haven\t got any update until now eh… They are preparing ‘something’

Preparing to kill the game apperantly.

Too soon imo the release it publicly with this current state. They should’ve take their time much to polish it, ughhh

It simply lacks the advertising to announce that the game exists at all. Except for Nvidia, I haven’t seen any advertising. There I see the problem

Not just that. It lacks the progression system needed to keep players playing.

I sure as hell do not feel like leveling (read: suffering) from level 1 with all these premium squads etc.
Nor do I feel like playing once I hit max level as I would feel bad for all the newbies i’d club.

It would be better, instead of working on Normandy, to close the open construction sites first, like for example the Matchmaker(SP) to work and to let the game still stand in the CB phase.
