Cross platform between PC and consoles

Like adding more stuff isnt really changing what i wrote initially. With your logic everyone can be bot:

  • bots got weapons - every kill is made by a bot
  • bots can jump - every kill is made while jumping is a bot
  • bots got used to vehicles - every tank must be a bot

RTFM is your life style, isnt?

First what is RTFM second you think that this one guy who killed you because lack of awareness represent every one?

First you can find out on reddit, second what i meant is that PS players could make a challenge to PC player from my own experience. Aim assist isnt new and in shooter games its actually very good in some games.

The worst thing that ever happened to console gamers: playing against pc. Why do devs make this decision? Why am I FORCED to play against pc players?

It is the most absurd and disastrous idea I have ever seen. This cannot be allowed. One of the reasons for purchasing the game was that it did NOT have crossplay. And now you force me. I feel cheated.

Cross-play between consoles is fine and very much appreciated. Crossplay between PC and consoles is not - at least not here. While in titles like CoD: Cold War console players get a bit of auto-aim as compensation, here it is pretty frustrating. I played a couple of matches yesterday on my Xbox Series S and got hammered by PC players. I LOVE the new content, but the overall experience was slightly better before the update in the Moscow campaign I must say. Please give us at least the option to select which platforms to cross-play with, that would be great.

You bought into a beta test where things are subject to change. You did not get cheated. If you want to be sure something is a certain way, DO NOT PRE-ORDER GAMES

Also if you are so dead-set on that PC gamers are superior, maybe consider just switching to PC to not have that issue. “cant beat them? join them.”

The aim assist in the newer cods is basically an aimbot, please don’t think that should be standard.
It’s actually aids to play against, mate.

Dude he doesn’t even have to buy a PC, just a mouse and keyboard since the new consoles support them. There’s even a thread up about adding M&KB support to consoles on the forum already.

Like I said in the post (which you didn’t read) enlisted doesn’t support maus and keyboard on console yet…

Yes I’m well aware it doesn’t. Hence mentioning the thread here Mouse and Keyboard - Xbox Series asking for it. I hope they push it through since that’s basic functionality.

Ok sorry for being a bit rude I miss read what you said (

But as they are currently not supported by the game, it would be a “solution”. Not saying it is a good solution, but a solution nonetheless.

Yeah, well thanks but no thanks. I am playing on console for a reason, mainly because of controllers and what used to be a level playing field regarding input devices. M&K is for a desk, which I am only sitting on while working.

I am not asking to put auto aim or any kind of aim bot in the game, no definitely not. I like the challenge of having to aim myself. But I think the best solution for everyone is to just let the players decide which platforms they want to play against. If you’re fine to go up against PC, just switch it on. If not, simply turn it off. Easy imho. Forcing console players to switch to M&K is absurd.

Letting people choose what console to play against would probably not work with the license to publish on PS at least. They are very stingy when it comes to crossplay stuff and it has to be done in a very specific way.

correction: forcing players who think playing against M&K to be unfair/disadvantagous to use M&K. Aim assist is a thing for enlisted. If the console players think it’s not strong enough to make up for the lack of M&K, they are free to use M&K.

Please don’t get me wrong, I am a huge advocate of cross play, bringing players together and strengthening the player base. Maybe I just need to adjust and get better, we’ll see.

I think that way of thinking is not the correct way to attract new players to a new game.

"Cant beat them? join them. " Really? XD. warzone is full of cheats … cant beat them? join them !!. Great idea. Check that out.

I have read on various sites, from the mouth of a dev, that there would be no crossplay. Importatn reason for me to buy the game. And yesterday they just put it in. The crossplay is ok, but don’t force me to use it. Why force? Do you want it? Ok. I do not. Let me decide. Anyway, they have already said that it will be temporary and that it can be deactivated. So good.

I have 9 pc. But I have decided to play it on console and bought it on console. I don’t want to play m & k or cheats. If I wanted it, I would have bought it on pc. If I wanted to play on pc, I would. I think it is not difficult to understand.

There is a simple concept called “You cannot please everyone.”
The devs have to do what is best for their game and/or majority of the playerbase. One guy disliking crossplay does not justify removing crossplay for all console players until the option has been implemented, as it would negatively affect queue times.

Also if you are so dead-set on that PC gamers are superior, maybe consider just switching to PC to not have that issue. “cant beat them? join them.

That argument can easily be turned the other way: “Also if you are so dead-set on that console gamers (with their aim assist) are superior (aids), maybe consider just switching to console to not have that issue. “cant beat them? join them.”

Every gamer has chosen his platform for specific reasons, one might be input device. Suggesting to switch over to the other “side” does not help in either direction. However, making cross-play optional would.
