Post didn’t contain a single coherent argument or point about the topic of discussion, which is soviet body armour.
But thanks for a nice generic axis suffers summary, i like it.

Its this concept called fairness for all. If you don’t understand that then…
no nation shouldn’t get extra DR that is not obtainable by any other nation because thats not fair.
It is a cosmetic it shouldn’t give any dr. People would still use it because it looks cool
I would agree with that statement, and even prefer more asymmetry myself, but they switched to a 1 for 1 policy a long time ago (or at least started down that path)
For example soviets shouldnt have assault rifles, but they have AS-44 to have the equivalent of STG 44
Only a matter of time until US gets an assault rifle they didnt have.
End game is gonna turn into the abyss and Germans may as well be fighting Germans in Berlin when it comes to half of the Soviet weapons
I absolutely do. That’s why i advocate that everyone should have access to the same equipment across all factions, because that maximizes the fairness for all.
You should 100% support me if you want fairness for all.
Nobody is going to go for that so you must be trolling.
Besides you’re deviating from the topic. Take guns and vehicles out of it. Why should soviets be the only nation in this game to have access to 10% DR?
I’ve personally never really agreed witn the idea that since things are not optimal, it’s fine to just make them worse.
But anyway i guess you are right on the direction, and besides i dont really care about this proposal anyway. Lets just give everyone the same guns too, seeing as the game seems to be getting flushed down the toilet anyway.
haha the day factions are mixed and the day all weapons are available to any faction, Im out lol
For the same reason why any differences between of the nations exist: because they used different things in the war.
And then because some people cry on the forums about those differences, and we get into the mkb-fedorov-ivf2-as44 deathspiral because the nerf-balance crowd will never be satisfied (until their faction has the better stuff of course).
See: this thread.
I’ll be out faster i fear. But either way, i dont really care about the topic and just want to be contrarian.
Think my only squad with body armor was created because @Greyparrots was complaining about it in some other thread.
(So I’ll create another one in the honor of this thread, if i can be bothered to)
So your just a salty forum troll. You dont care about the game or the topic. That explains it.
You are not my enemy and I’m not afraid of you it’s the Asian players that I am really concerned about who will bring the end times
cosmetic tokens can be earned in the battle pass free and paid and can be earned by regular gameplay
Well for one, you can prevent them from getting vitality, which the AS-44 squad cannot get. Secondly, it at least prevents armor from being totally ubiquitous as it can be now.
Id say it makes quite differency will you die to 2 hits instead of 3, especiatly considering it comes without any downsides.
Sounds bit odd, considering the 7.62 tokarev is the definition of overpenetration. If I recall, the problem wasnt so much during the war since nobody gave fk about where the bullets ended.
Problems arise after war when police / border and what else officers used these former military weapons in “civilian duties”
Figuring out that bullet often went straight thru the intended target and in many occasions even thru what was behind it such as wooden wall of a house of where comrade communist was living peacefully.
^ this is pretty much with surplus steelcore ammunition, not 100% sure but I think the steelcore became the standard for 7.62 tokarev since lead could be used in other products.
Surplus steelcore ammo is also banned in many US states if not in entire US due to actually being capable to penetrate some modern kevlar vests aka considered AP round.
Anyway, theres plenty redneck test videos about the subject in utube, couldnt find the exact one I was thinking from years ago, TT33 defeated 5mm ? steel plate from close range.
So yes the bullet type does make differency of night and day, but 40m ? I highly doubt that 2mm plate would stop the 7.62 tokarev regardless of its bullet type.
Im even quite sceptical of that 2mm stopping a much slower 9mm at said range.
anyway, theres PPSh defeating modern kevlar, TT33 failed so my memory might be wrong with teh 5mm steel or not
