I havent collected any data but i feel like 3/4 games i play as germany on berlin we lose, im always 1st or 2nd place. Im not sure if theres a balance issue or german players just dont know how to play the game, but i notice alot that places 7-10 are contantly lower than even the soviets lowest player by score. If anyone knows whats going on please let me know.

german players tend to be a bit on the disabled end of the spectrums but it could also be the fact many of them canât progress so they are stuck wit level 1 gear
I know for a fact that, atleast on berlin, germany has issues with just capping points. but i think that if you are fully free play they, they should be able to unlock up to lvl 3 so they can built stuff with engineers.
they will atleast be able to built AA since only people who have paid for stuff can actually counter aircraft.

german players will often ignore points in invasion, this is also very clear on point 1 in d-day though i agree that itâs scummy that you canât progress some levels without paying or waiting until CBT is done for berlin and having engies being able to be unlocked would be nice
Using arguments like âX side tends to have more stupid playersâ etc is just a lame and unfunded argument. I am mainly playing the Soviets in Berlin and i am winning almost every timeâŚEspecially on Assault maps i cannot recall the last time i lost as USSR. Imo the capping time is too short and also the fact that the caps dont reset if you kill all the enemies in them is another issue (a general one not only in Berlin). Also in open caps tanks are very important and thus having a Pz IV as equivalent to a T-34-85 is just a bad joke. Finally the premium soviet submachinegun squad (which i own) is just ridiculously good in urban combat. Until an equilevant gun with a 70mag comes in the techtree it is straight up P2W and much better even than a full researched assaulter techtree squad. The later issue would be common in various campaigns since not all nations had same guns and doctrines. So imo the main issues for Germany in Berlin is the capping time and not resetting the cap and as well the Pz IV is just food for the T-34-85s

lame yeah i can agree with that, but unfunded? you must not have seen players actively avoid capture zones and they tend to be germany players on normandy for some reason
have you seen tiger players in WT, alot of new players will rush germany because they had âcool techâ

well i mean it is possible that the better players are mainly playing USSR on Berlin but 1) we dont have actual data to support that, 2) even if true it might be cause of USSR is just better/easier to play in Berlin. That is why i focused on actual game play issues (issues imo and experiences in Berlin anyways)
The only proper branch to play is USSR since the devs literally jerk that branch off.
Anyone remember the MD8 fiasco where the T34 rounds had something to the tune of 2 or 3x the HE filler it was supposed to which ended up nuking literally anything it shot?
@2026213 root cause is almost irrelevant because people will just leave the game or play less if they find themselves struggling or simply not having fun. Itâs a buyers market and battlefield 2042 is just around the corner. Thereâs plenty of options out there for people who donât want to have âHAHA U RETARD FOR MAINING GERMONEYâ shouted at them every time they question game mechanics or balancing.

sometimes itâs not the balance since for the most part the sides are pretty equal with allies generally having better tanks and snipers and germans having better CAS and machineguns

If I had to guess my experiences maining Germany in Berlin while waiting for arty to get nerfed and return to playing Russia in Moscow, I would say thereâs 40% stomps in favor of Russia, 40% close wins/losses, and 20% stomps in favor of Germany.
Itâs not certain maps either because Iâve stomped and been stomped on the same maps.
Really the sheer amount of window-lickers coming in open beta shifted the meta entirely.

This. Developers were woefully underprepared for the amount of speds and twitch streamers who would make ruining this game formulaic.

Speaking of which I just had a match last 9 minutes because a 4 man group took both planes and 2 radio squads and just cycled artillery barrages and rocket barrages the entire match. Entire team was killed in less than 30 seconds. Like this is seriously a fucking joke.
More premium tanks and planes pls.

Thatâs why they should give Germany something worthmentioning rather these out-dated shits like MP35 or nobody would have any interest in playing Germany in Berlin. I would be pissed off and leave Berlin immediately if Stg44 isnât there two weeks later.
