I really feels like most games are extremally one sided. I have very few slug fest games, and those are fun even when you lose.
However a lot of the games I play are really really one sided games. As in the other team ends the game with the 1000 tickets they started with. When my team does win I feel like I’m really working hard to make it happen. Consistently #1 on my team and I’m 42 with arthritis, I shouldn’t be consistently #1.
I almost feel like there is some type of shadow ban mechanic that I’ve been put in. Though I don’t know how or why that would be. A lot of funny things happen that don’t seam right leads me to believe this could be a thing. It doesn’t matter the campaign or side I’m on. Anyone else experience this?
“Merge is going to fix this issue” well that depends on the playerbase like sweatlords will still catch on what’s the future meta and potentially even more toxic games with the BR system putting all high level players together instead of a diverse one with only 1 or 2 players in a team with high level equipment while the others are mid to low.
If you know the faction trends, you know certain factions on certain campaigns dominate thus people flock there for easy wins. This is a problem created by the devs like the trend was even worse when the merge was announced so people rushing for Berlin Axis to get everything for Germany.
We have to remember that this game is a constant work in process and always liable to change. Even I don’t think the BR or whatever will be set in stone, and for all we know it will be scrapped for some other new major overhaul in the future
The update may hurt for a bit, but we must weather the storm. I certainly wouldn’t quit the game, I’d just see how it goes from there
I’m consistently #1 too, it’s fishy, because everybody is, everybody has +70% win rate, I mean… who is losing then?
given how dark flow deceive bots to real humans I wouldn’t be surprised if there were some cheesy mechanics that the game puts you in easy matches for purpose or something that’s arranged for a new generation audience that doesn’t like to lose?
I’ve been wondering about it since the very beginning.
At the end of the day, win rate change nothing, many people has their way to keep win rate intact.
To be honest, playing stomps doesn’t let you make a good amount of points, i have jumped out of may compaigns that were insufferable, like Axis Berlin, Axis Pacific, the lately Axis Tunisia.
Game needs balanced matches, they have been liying around with that “no matchmaking” and it shows.
man i dont even carea about win rate my dude i only care about comfort like i wouldnt care about losing if only people who play losing side tried a little bit you know what i mean?
like this take me for example i play stalingrad axis which mostly lose but sometime win and i do try quite a lot but i dont blame my team (cause i know we usually lose) but when we could have win it frustrating anyway yea one sided are good for new player so for new player go farm those gear before the golden age change cause it might take a while to change back like berlin allie for example
This is largely due to the way they attempt to “balance” for lack of players on one side or the other.
Periodically, they go through and immensely buff the side that was previously getting wrecked, making it much easier to win with, especially if you actually have players on that side.
So what happens? Everyone switches over to that side to get easy victories.
They could honestly VERY EASILY solve this issue by dynamically adjusting the amount of tickets gained and the capture rate according to EACH LOBBY instead of OVERALL.
The problem is players don’t really understand the dynamics of the game and how you can maximize points.
For example, if the attacking team is just steamrolling, there is ample opportunity to SLOW DOWN THE ATTACK and farm a little bit. Same for defenders, what’s wrong with allowing the attackers to take the 1st point so the game can move along?
IDK, maybe I’m old @ 34 but this game is actually FUN when you’re not bursting blood vessels to stomp Level 5’s.

Just because someone is doing really well it doesn’t mean that team is going to win.
You will get games that are lot of bot squads and you get those easy matches but it’s mostly campaigns people are not playing or very early morning what there really isn’t anyone playing.
That said, I’m experiencing a lot more losses than I used to on any campaign on either side. I can play the Allies for 3 games and get curb stomped every game, switch to Axis and the same thing happens. It’s really fishy…
To make this very very clear… I’m talking about losses that have you asking why am I even playing this game? No possible way to win, and the game is over in like 5 minutes. Nothing is accomplished XP wise… Completely pointless games.
game need a way to inject fuckton more new players. maybe throwing this game into steam will solve it… probably… would enlisted monetization work with steam policy? never understood how that would work, never played other game with these kind of monetization in steam.
I believe adding the game to Steam would add a lot of new players. Problem is Steam takes a sizable cut of transactions. I also believe the the increase in player count would offset that loss significantly, but bean counters have to be convinced.
