Colour sheme + more weather effects

I was listening to Paradivision on Youtube and got inspired to make this post.

The colour sheme in enlisted makes the game look like fortnite. The reason is simple, the colours are very bright. In theory there is nothing wrong with this. Maps like Tunesia should be bright, but on Moscow maps this just looks odd and is not very imersive.
Paradivisions solution, which I completly agree with, is to add filters to the game which would for instance make Russian maps look more blue and dark. Obviously a filter mod does not work because of calculation times. But if the devs build it in it would work.

Furthermore, I think more weather effects should be added to the game for more maps. Most of the time when playing enlisted you get a bright blue sky. But could they not add more snow effects & rain effect more often? Or at least, could they not add a grey sky with a slightly darker filter? So the weather looks more realistic for a European, and especially Russian, winter.

Especially adding overcast skies on old maps would really be nice.

It’s not really his solution.

Something like this is proposed all the time. You can look up several years old topics about it here on the forum.

For example:

But PC players can at least solve this issue through Nvidia filters to some extent.

a basic option to adjust saturation/contrast/brightness would be a good start, a lot of games have those already

Yeah, there might be some sweaty EVA players who turn their saturation to 300% so they can make out the color of someone’s eyes, but you can already do dumb stuff like that in nvidia control panel

I don’t mind the weather conditions… but I know how it will end - the players will start crying :sob:
I don’t see the enemy in the bunker, in the opening window :sob:
Developers, fix the lighting, I can’t see anything :sob:

Presets:

  • Morning Storm
  • Dawn Fog
  • Sunset Rain
  • Sunset Zero Visibility

Bump

I would like that, I actually wanted to edit the look of enlisted but its impossible to install reshade to it somehow
