I am getting to that only. I was always upset over this craze to buy 5 million copies of the same gold order weapon and then making an entire squad out of it. Sure I cannot dictate someone’s choice since I myself like to play with 3 assaulter squads. But gold orders should not be so ubiquitous if you ask me.

The stopping power is the problem no engineer can carry a rifle that powerful is a full automatic.

And if you’ve been playing and listed for a while combat ranges are roughly within 100 to 200 meters so having an engineer with something that powerful is questionable to say the least unless we’re gonna give it to all factions as well.

The Gorov LMG is literally just a reskined FG-42, both are full auto, have 20 round mags and have the same damage.

And ignoring the existence of the M2, AVS, AVT and FG for engineers wont help you in your deluisons.

Body armor offers negligible protection against pistol cartridge rounds. So that’s not huge to begin with. I am sure the devs will add something for Germany in the near future as well. No reason to get upset about it.

Not true someone tested it and it gives you small hp boost against any rounds including rifles and smgs not just pistols. In some cases it let you to survive instead of dying.

I see. Thanks for the heads up. Last time I checked someone said that it offers protection against pistol caliber rounds only.

There are tons of things which are OP but new players wont able to get, like T-50 gold order tank.
Also, new players wont able to meet MKB due to BR reasons.
But who with MKB engineer obviously going to meet M2 and FG

Because it gives me the ability to focus on a task.

If you play in a team and you want to be at least semi serious, you will be planing your roles.

It is not necessary for every player to have an engineer squad - but having one dedicated engineer will support your team consistently.

It makes no sense to bring just one sniper squad, but if you bring 3 your team can count on you to fulfil your role.

I still didn’t see where diversity is.
In reality people will just spam meta squad.

Same goes with me as well mate. Plus if you think about Japan it gets all the more interesting. Three squads with SIG 1920, Type 100 (late) and the new Type 2 smg. Or for the Soviets PPSH-41, Fedorov Avtomat and AS-44. Please don’t kill this diversity. Within assaulters you have different varieties of weapon as well.

New player have the ability to grind the tech tree version anyway. And there is BR so that is not OP.

Well fuck. I just bought a ton of sgrad engineers for the merge and now they will be normal ones.
