M10 is slow open top with weak armor but has good 75mm gun, should be moved to BR 3. Long 75mm would be too OP in BR 2
Achilles is slightly superior, should remain at BR IV with its APDS, would put in 3.5 if this was like WT, it’s too good for BR 3 but not good enough for BR IV
M18 is difficult. It is very maneuverable with good gun, but Enlisted maps are small. Has very weak armor, and is open top. If we had maps like modded Big Action that let it shine it should stay at BR IV, but we don’t, so move M18 to BR 3 to be with M10
m4a2 76 w should be moved to BR IV, doesn’t belong with pershings or KT, I know it’s being looked at but I hope they move it soon!
All tank destroyers should be promoted, cause you hardly see them in game. And that’s totaly not historicaly accurate. So IMHO they could make a special slot for them which one could be shared with 1 infantry slot. I mean if someone doesn’t want to play a tank destoyer, still can play infantry squad on that slot. But if wants to, then has got + 1 vehicle slot. Also there could be given more exp. points for kills made by the tank destroyer ( I mean by gun and coaxial, not the personal weapons of the squad).
EDIT: And changing BR will have no effect, cause people will always prefer the rotating tank turret over the chassis of the tank destroyer very difficult to maneuver and additionaly with gun placed so low.
It all depends on map itself, map knowledge, level of enemies… But generaly playing tank destroyers in Enlisted is just a pain. And it could be nice from DF to compensate it, as I wrote before.
If the primary concern people have is having a tank that can do everything at a lower BR, then the remedy is to focus on the purpose of having such a tank in a lower BR and reduce its flexibility to do anything else so that same-BR options appear viable.
It can still support infantry, but its limited ammo pool would encourage tankers to switch back to infantry sooner than if it was a tank with larger ammo pools.
well one could argue that 76mm is very close to German Panzer IV gun, so its close to that BR3 gun, yet instead I would argue that Panzer IV L48 75mm is more of a BR4 gun just with a tank that has poor turret armor.
overall I think 76 mm is more or less fair for a good BR 4 tank, but since they are open top and kinda trashy in general, lowering them (like Panzer IV is) to BR3 seems fair.
