Change in the content of the upcoming update

I honestly don’t mind, I think there should be a weapon for every magsize a weapon had, (or if they would just add a mag customisation feature).
I want an AVT with a 10 round mag and 5 round mag too. I also want SVT’s with 5, 15, and 20 round mags.

This is how it feels to read this post, victory in Enlisted day.

If you think so, then AVT (15) actually still has some advantages. It can’t be considered completely useless.

Lmao.

Anyone who’s gonna say he’s going to play AVT 15 after introduction of AVT 20 is simply dishonest.

The weapon lost any meaning of its existence. Now it’s going to be just another grind obstacle and wasted resources for anyone who previously bought it.

Instead of an completely unique weapon… Smh.

Well, It’s great the Dev’s pay attention to our requests during upcoming update testing, they certainly don’t seem to pay attention to our requests the other 11 months out of the year. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Hopefully for a nice guerilla event squad.

Now only if replacements were made for the captured Ofenrohrs, that would be the dream.

(Also new event idea?)

I mean, this honestly can be said about most Enlisted weaponry. Only real difference with this one is that it shouldn’t (hopefully) force people to research something new in the middle of the tech tree.

Take for example all the grease guns, most become outdated once you get M3A1…

Or the german assault platforms. No one ‘would’ use the MKB 42 H once they have the StG 44.

And by “everyone” you only mean the historical accuracy crowd pretty much. You guys talk about this like it was a unanimous consensus in the community to not want the new PPSh in the tree. Ignoring there were people who were looking forward to it. For an issue like this you basically can’t satisfy everyone because most of the solutions are mutually exclusive.

Developers are also aware of the potential verticality issues of the research tree with this addition, so some other stats will be adjusted as the post says for the 15-round.

Essentially, a trade-off between faster fire rate (AVS-36), lower recoil/more accuracy (AVT-40 with 15-rounds) or larger mag size (AVT-40 with 20 rounds).

It’s similar to the FG 42 changes that came in recently, to give players reason to use each gun and not just “next gun in tech tree has better numbers = better = delete all my previous guns”.

It’s almost like there’s a progression system… Where you have to progress through the tech tree, not everyone has everything unlocked already.

Great change, thanks for listening.

Keeping silenced weapons rare is exactly the right call!

Nice! It was a hard work for me to add AVT. Finaly!

On one hand, sad, because now we will never get Suppressed weapons for any tech-tree. Since Soviets cant get it, no faction will.

On the other hand, this is hilarious news that we now get EVEN MORE SOVIET powercreep thanks to the good honest work of forum users

As if the existence of a problem could justify the creation of another one.

Plus I don’t recall these weapons replacing the possibility to have actually something unique in TT.

Please give us that PPSH as a guerrilla event squad, it’s been a long time since the last event squad.

I think this clearly means we need to put AVT-40 in BR4

Uhm, not everyone is a filthy min-maxxer like you

Why not just copy the 20 round drum from GO svt40? So avt40 20 round would just have a slightly longer reload than 15 round, seem perfectly balanced.
Don’t understand how a slightly longer mag would cost a dispersion difference, unless you mean it is only 0.01 difference.

But that doesn’t really make sense, if anything the increased weight should decrease the recoil a bit.

Also powercreep? For the ones that hasn’t had a 20 rounded auto rifle yet? What?
