I did the report, but I see names like this all the time, and I wonder if Darkflow supports languages other than English and Russian.

Some double-byte nicknames use xenophobic/racist language and remain unchecked.
In a way they are exploiting the situation where the majority of users don’t understand their language, which lets offensive usernames slip through the dev’s moderation.
As some pointed out it might be a bit silly to take them seriously, but it’s unpleasant to see them indeed.

Well, I see it this way:
If some racist butthurt chinese can uses such nickname casually without repercussions, then:
- I want my not even offensive Rommel / Yamamoto portraits.
- I want the original historical Normandy Panther skin.
- I want swatiskas on Cubania flags, and some gold order and premium vehicles.
All of those aren’t really offensive, they’re just what was. What china wrote as a name however, is pretty direct

I have been on a QA team related to comments for a company that operates a social networking site, so I may be sensitive to this kind of discriminatory language and behavior.
But at least if you let these content names go unchecked, you can end up with a situation like 4chan. In the past, the company I belonged to was badly protested by the media because of it. Broken windows theory.

Just to avoid further antagonism between nations, I think I need to say something:
- Clarify: 干死小日本 is not 千死小日本， previous one means “fk small japs to death”
- This name is certainly insulting, and is of course problematic: a. reflect an antagonistic nationalism in a game which honestly don’t matter much about history；b. implies a simplistic and naive reading of history and the notion of the nation. If there is some thing correct to say about regarding the WWII history, then it should be: down with Japanese imperialism and militarism. In that way it refers to a specific structure of society and not pointing to all the people under that structure, since they were too the cost of ruling class exploitation and expansion. (also there were many Japanese at time reject their regime and thus purged)
- Many Chinese won’t agree with bring such simplistic antagonistic name into a game, nor referring to all the people of a nation. Within Marxist Leninist Maoist principle, such name is not good at all.
4. Today I agree with your argument, afterall because of one reason: all racism and offensive nationalism are cancer to the community, there should be no tolerance and not exception. In this sense I had also wrote against other racist trash in the forum.

To address this issue, the right to establish game IDs in all languages other than English should be revoked. Only English can establish game IDs.

Many people use Chinese homophones to create malicious game IDs, and we are also troubled by this issue. The solution is simple, it is to restore the original state, which means that only English can create game IDs.
