There’s not enough anime in Enlisted to convert vulnerable peeps yet
Be careful what you wish for. Halfchan has gone to the dogs and dregs years ago.
Do you wanna know wy is popular?
… It’s a trick question isn’t it…
…
Ofc I want to know! I dare you to post it, because it’s probably not allowed
(I’ll probably regret it)
I tell you think where is allowed
I’m listening…
Me being very boring and preferring the likes of this:
This… Too… Anime, please, no!
I dont get it, who cares what someones name is and gets offended? Maybe internet is not the place for you…
Why can’t the solution be to moderate all allowed languages the same way they do with English?
Blacklisting and active moderation would be the best option in any language, and I’m sure they can use native speakers for the job. That way we can avoid casual bigotry and western exceptionalism too.
No, no, no, don’t misunderstand. I am not biased towards the West. Some prohibited words in Chinese can be replaced with words with similar homophones. For example, a simple curse word can be replaced by countless words with similar homophones, which cannot be completely prohibited. Not to mention the reactionary words in our country (including but not limited to insulting national leaders)
For example:傻逼,沙比,煞笔,啥b,啥比。
These words all have the same meaning - stupid
Many game anchors I know have been banned due to their teammates and opponents’ prohibited word game IDs, and adding the function of blocking prohibited words in other languages will greatly increase the workload of the staff. They currently do not have enough manpower to complete the task of practicing and merging battles, let alone mobilizing personnel to block illegal words.
Now you can only rely on the staff to complete the basic work content, and don’t expect any additional workload.
Ah, yes. The infamous latvian western exceptionalism is definitely problematic these days.
That makes sense, but I don’t see why those issues can’t be dealt with using blacklists for obviously offensive or banned terms, and an active moderation team that’s fluent in the language. These just seem like problems that already have solutions.
Content moderators aren’t, or at least don’t need to be the same people that implement or maintain other game systems. If maintaining or outsourcing a moderation team that can keep up with the demand is too much for darkflow, maybe they are biting off more than they can chew and should scale down.
Because Chinese vocabulary is very large, I am also a game host, but I dare not live stream recently. Do you know why?
In the first round after the update, I encountered a person’s ID, which insulted the first leader of our country. However, this sentence would only be understood by those who have a deep understanding of Chinese history, and censorship would definitely not understand it. There are too many examples, and even those who use the name of the current leader of our country to obtain a game ID, which makes me afraid to live stream now, Many live broadcasts I know have also been banned for these reasons.

There’s more to it, but I think I should stop posting it
I agree no matter what language it is in, if it is violent/harmful it should be changed.
I myself have experienced racism and know its not fun.
Doubt it, seems like some player from Enlisted Chinese community are very happy about this.
Its time to counter, insert nothing happened copypasta here.
Nicknames should be limited to English,or DF should take measures to review Chinese nicknames.Because some of them are insulting. And DF even don‘t review some sick nickname such as a sick Chinese players(other Chinese players dislike him too because of his rhetoric)‘s nickname is “希特勒” . That’s right, it’s the person who founded Nazi Germany
The changes to nickname is the requirement from other platform such as Steam, Playstation etc.
If you meet such inapprociate nickname, please try to use in-game complaint system, the team related will check your complaint and try to make judgement as soon as possible. The team are busy in dealing with bunches of suspectful nicknames, time is needed, please be patient.
Thank you in advance.
