By that rational there would be no problems as they would be all fixed.
The developers do in fact fix the issues we report and they can replicate. Certain things that the community perceives as issues, such as balance issues, may require a lot of internal data to “fix”. The developers intend for each weapon to have a certain power level. While people say a gun is OP or UP, this might be intentional by the developers.
Heres the thing tho:
Even if you take out aiming while jumping, you can still hip-fire while jumping with, such as a PPD or mp40 or god forbid a MG34 cuz since your opponent is around the corner, you still won’t miss from the angle, which kinda takes me out of the experience in terms of immersion purposes.
We can ask the devs to increase weapon sway to make the guns less accurate during the jump if aim removal isn’t enough.
So what? They should ignore it? Easier solution would be to split jump and climb buttons.
If you hit “climb” button, lets say ALT and the game doesn’t recognise on what you want to climb, nothing will happen.
If you hit “jump” button or by default space, you don’t want to climb but to jump over something, trench, hole and so on which would really hit your stamina if you fail to do so.
Honestly you should not be able to jump over spiked fence or barbwire fence without any damage or not to get snagged!
I am not saying that. I am saying it isn’t just some “oh we fix that in a jiffy” kind of thing, and that it would affect quite a lot in terms of gameplay, so deciding that jumps should be nerfed before trying how the game plays after such a change would be a bad idea.
Why you guys want to change jumping?
Wouldn’t it be better to nerf option to shoot while jumping?
It’s beta test, we agreed to test it, it’s not written in stone.
Is idea with climbing and jumping any good or you just have to contradict everything productive we suggest?
Jumping can also be used as evasive maneuver, but limiting shooting as as whole while jumping is a good start.
