Could you expand upon how you came to your calculations? I don’t understand how the PPS-43 is slower than the lanchester. Yes, the lanchester has 0.1 extra damage, but it’s 100 rpm slower and has a 50m/s velocity difference as well. Even the damage at 100m isn’t drastically different, at 3.3 compared to 2.8 (who actually consistently uses SMGs to 100m?).
So, what we’re going to do is make a better M1A1 Thompson, which was previously BR III, and put it into BR II against opponents without body armour (Soviets are the only nation with body armour) and arguably against the weakest SMGs in the game.
Besides, this is Enlisted, where you try to wipe a squad of 5 or more people at one time, not Counter Strike where you only have to kill one dude faster than the other. So how fast a gun can kill one person is kind of pointless as most guns that are like that have no squad wiping ability.
well, soldier with vitality have 13.5 HP
6.7 * 2 = 13.4
6.8 * 2 = 13.6
That means lanchester can do 2 hit down in extreme close range
Tokarev pistol cartridge generally have the lowest damage in game, that’s why they have higher TTK in theory.
I understand now. But that’s the issue - in theory. Accounting for ping, body armour (if applicable), dispersion, player’s individual reflexes (such as time to obtain sights etc.), would provide a better comparison as Enlisted is far from a perfect game (and yes, I know it’s probably impossible to calculate and collect the data for all those issues).
I still stand by the fact TTK is kind of a stupid metric in Enlisted, when the only competitive thing in this game is who has the lowest ping.
If the German main force feels that 6.8 damage is completely meaningless, then this topic will not have any impact.
(I still remember how they refuted me when I mentioned 6.8 damage.)
That’s not even true, as vitality perk is not standard on BR2.
It’s really hard to tell if this is just a troll post or sealclubbers attempting to push for even harder powercreep with some pseudo BS reasoning as usual.
That’s right, but the German main force always believes that their enemies have bulletproof vests and 13.5 HP.
They wouldn’t consider RD-44’s 9.9 damage as a disadvantage when evaluating it,they also do not consider SMG with 6.8 damage as an advantage.
